We went to the Taste this past weekend to see 16 candles. Considering we didn’t go for food, I can comment on the other reviews than to say I saw maybe 6 tents so this probably isn’t the biggest selection. There was a Red Baron food truck, not necessarily local fare. The band was great and put on an awesome show. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn’t too crowded. Lots of people were working to clean the streets/empty garbage cans. My direct complaint would be to the Waterhouse for watery Sangria. It’s much better in-house.

Taste of Lakeview? What restaurants in the area we’re featured at the taste of Lakeview? The only one I believe was featured was the lobster roll booth. Big time false advertising.

Bad, good is not worth the trip! The music was okay. They asked for a $ 5 donation & wouldn’t let you in unless you gave a donation! After handing the man a $ 20 he didn’t give me change do I ended up paying $ 20 for admission to a fest that had mediocre food. Don’t call it a «Taste» if you only have 5 food booths. Not worth the time or money, there are better Chicago fests to attend.
