Its a solid late night spot in Chicago but similar to all the other ones you’re here for poor decisions and want to have a hangover until Wednesday. The back area is just a sweaty grind fest but the front is actually a pretty good time where you can hear the person next to you. There’s always a cover late night and one time I paid $ 5 and 2 minutes later my friend had to pay $ 7. Citibank is across the street though if you forget cash

A friend and I came here to watch a bit of football while we were waiting for a table at Ba Ba Reeba. It was pretty empty at 9pm on a Saturday, and I was surprised…(Though now that I read the reviews, I’m starting to get it.) It was pretty divey for the neighborhood, but that’s usually fun. The bartender was polite and service wasn’t slow. However, my friend and I were clearly watching a game, and when a small group of louder, drunker people came in, all the TVs were switched to their game. There were a bunch! Is it so bad to share? Then the drunk dudes decided not to leave us alone for the next half hour, so we took our leave. Is it fair to blame the bar? I’m not sure, but it seemed like a place more welcoming of the jerks than it was to us.

Don’t bother. The doormen are rude and a bit homophobic(they told my friend to go back to boystown). The music is average at best and everyone is trashed.

Beaumonts will pretty much give you the greatest nights you won’t remember. $ 7 cover which blows but they kinda deserve it for dealing with wasted twenty two year olds.

Came here Saturday night at like 2:30 am. They were charging a $ 7 cover and since it’s a late night place, it was packed. This place is the definition of a trashy bar. Half the people there are belligerently drunk and it’s a good thing it’s pitch black because I don’t even want to know what the floors look like. This is definitely not a place to go anywhere near if you are not at least tipsy and if it’s not past midnight. It does tend to have a more of a crappy dance club feel since they have a large open space where everyone is dancing elbow to elbow. We only stayed about 30 minutes because the music wasn’t very good, I kept losing the people I was with, and it was probably only moments before a fight or something broke out.

The staff is all trash no class. They are a horrible group of people who create a hostile environment. The black bouncer is unbelievably rude to everyone standing in line. Management should highly consider getting a new staff to properly represent their business. Every Chicago resident knows this place has a lousy reputation. Save your money.

I regularly go here because it is a valid late night option as it is open until 4AM. Always an expensive time as its $ 7 at the door to get in and a $ 20 minimum on cards. Beaumont is pretty dirty and is always home to some severely drunk idiots. Their drinks are also really strong which probably doesn’t help the drunk idiot situation. Place is fun if you are really drunk and want to dance, but other than that I would advise against going here.

Do not come here. As simple as it gets. Zero stars if it were possible. Terrible staff.

This place is so atrocious. I wish I could give it no stars. Upon arrival, it took the non-attentive bartender way too long to even acknowledge my side of the bar. Lacking peripheral vision, he didn’t even address my area, but focused his attention on the people directly in front of him. Even his fellow bartenders were peeved with his ineffectiveness to manage a growing crowd. Furthermore, while I was taking a break with my friends out front, someone who claimed to be the owner(an older, white gentleman) came up to me and told me I was being too rowdy and I needed to move away from the bar. He began to physically push me away from the building and yell at the bouncers to escort me away. The bouncers, obviously aware of the gentleman’s intoxication, confirmed that he was the owner and that he would call the cops. Having done nothing wrong, he began to continue his tirade, shouting obscenities at my friends and I until we relocated away from the building. I don’t know if this man just lacks any business acumen or if he’s just a complete douche(my money’s on both), but I can guarantee that I’ll never spend another dime in a place this disturbingly offensive to all senses. It’s a shame this is one of the only late-night bars in Chicago. I’d rather chew my face off than to set foot in here again. Beware.

LOLOL this place is awesome. I visited friends here during Lollapalooza weekend and for some reason we thought it would be a good idea to postgame the concert with some buffalo chicken fingers at Kincades and then a dance fest at Beaumont. Essentially this is your divey dance party with crazy people, beer on the floor(in a good way) and just people down to have a good time. Whenever you need to entertain your inner dance/drunk/college self in a completely ridiculous fashion you need to come here. It’s so divey it can’t even be fratty. This place is what my stanky leg craves. Maybe a little fratty.

Oooohhh Beaumont… It’s such a love hate relationship! Like other reviews have mentioned this is a 4am shit show of a bar. You come here when you just don’t care and want to keep partying. The doormen are pretty lizard brained and annoying. For the most part go here to get your groove on to today’s hits and just be happy that your night didn’t have to end a couple of hours ago. Although for most of the people that you will find here, their night should have ended a few hours ago. The back bar seems to have the two best bartenders in the place, two older guys, one always has a hat on and the other guy is probably in his 50s. They don’t take shit from those who are being annoying and pushy which is quite entertaining at times. Let’s be honest, can you imagine serving a mass amount of drunken idiots at 4am when you are sober? I know that I would get sick of people waving money in my face or over the drinks that I am trying to make or not having their drink order ready when they get to the bar after standing in a 3 – 5 deep line!!! Seriously, alcohol makes this crowd rude, impatient and stupid. Take it for what it is and make it a good time. FYI: you probably won’t remember much the next day anyways! Lol! If you are looking for a super chill place to hang with a friends and have a convo. Beaumont is a great place during the afternoon and early evening. Plan on a basic drink menu. You won’t find a deep beer list or wine. Their burgers, chicken strips and wings are decent for bar food. Oh and BRINGCASH!!! You will need it for the door and to pay for your drinks unless you plan on running over a $ 20 tab

It’s a 4am bar. If you’re scrambling where to take the drunken party next and don’t mind a cover then go here. One word to describe this place = sloppy. saw a guy making out with a chick who was clearly passed out…

I am not a Chicago local. I had dinner with a group of friends on Halsted Street, and after dining, we spent some time at the Marquee Lounge, then stumbled down the street looking for a new environment for some late-night-fun! We popped into The Store, but it had a weird vibe, so we walked a few doors down to the Beaumont. We ended up having a great time there! They have a couple dart boards, so we started a game, and ordered some drinks at the bar. We ordered«the works» fries — which was perfect for drinking/bar food. They were so good we ordered them a second time, along with the asiago quesadillas, which were actually very tastey! The music is loud, and they play a good variety of songs that kept us on the dance floor for quite a while. By the time we were ready to leave(around 2:30am), the bar was 2 – 3 deep with only two bartenders to take care of everyone… a far cry from when we arrived and the place was basically empty. All in all — we had a lot of fun, the food was what you would expect from bar food, the free darts and ample dance floor were bonuses.

Literally the worst bar I’ve ever been to. They charge a cover fee for some reason, like people really wanna get inside this place. Way understaffed, takes 15 minutes to get a drink. Bartender tried telling me my credit card was declined, which is impossible, until she finally told me she was doing something wrong after 10 attempts and the card finally went through. Subpar hand stamp system for going outside where a friend of mine wasn’t allowed to reenter the bar. Place blows.

In the early evening, this place is deserted. Not a soul other than the bartender in sight. But that certainly makes it easy to grab things! Draft beers? The list is boring, but has the usual suspects. Wings? They’re decent wings, and cheap. But we were waiting for a table at Ba Ba Reeba. Like I said, not a soul in there. Haha.

Bro-city hoe-city If you are fortunate enough to make it until 2 am and want to extend your night to 4 then Beaumont’s is the place for you to go. No matter where you are around this time you should hop in a cab and head over to Halsted and Armitage. At this hour it will be a $ 7 cover but for the amount of people and the good music it is definitely worth it. This place is where all the bros end up with their wastey-pants girlfriends. There is a front and back area both with ample bar space, dancing space and table space. If you are able to make it out of Beaumont’s without a drink spilled on you or someone bumping into you every five minutes than I congratulate you. People in here are usually out of there minds intoxicated and can barely stand up. Look for the drunk girl dancing and falling of the floor. The bro trying to get the girl. And the numerous amount of people that don’t even recognize your presence as they try and walk through you. Though I bash a little it is still by far one of the best places to go at this hour. Plus if you aren’t turnt up by this point I don’t know what you’re still doing out. Party out the night for the last two hours and get ready for a long morning the next day. Watch out for DK and Robbie, they come here all the time.

The only good thing about this place is that they serve alcohol. Thought it was a good idea to go to this place late night and after overhearing the doorguy get in 3+ bickering and pointless fights during our(thankfully short) wait in line we entered the bar. While entering, my friend said something about«how this place reminds her of one of her hometown bars in milwaukee» or something and the door guy comes racing after us and grabs her arm and says«You CALLMEANASSHOLE?» Sadly, he probably gets called an A-hole so much he actively and frequently confuses words or phrases like«bars in milwaukee» or «bananas» or «I love beer» with«you’re an asshole». So we merely gave him vacant and shocked glances(really, it was a very confusing situation for us) until he recoiled back to his 2 ft. by 2 ft. area to probably discuss his high ambitions and altruistic nature with no one. It’s so sad that people so emotionally depraved and crippled work in the nightlife business. Beaumonts is better of just hiring kind(non-violent/aggressive/terrorizing) people and making more money.

You must be wondering how I ended up at a place like this with such low ratings. I’m wondering the same thing. I didn’t really notice how low the ratings were until I got inside and checked in. On this night my friend and I met some locals and decided to check out their hood in Lincoln Park. Being the tourists we were, we wanted to get a well-rounded tour of the city so we thought it was a good idea to just roll with them. This was the second stop they took us to and it was seriously such a dive. I don’t mind dive bars, but I don’t like paying cover($ 7) to get into one. Surprisingly, the line was really long when we first got there. It’s hard to me to really judge this establishment on the one time I was here, especially seeing the strong feelings other reviewers have about this place… but it looked like a chill late night spot, pretty big and spacious, and crowded with locals. My time here was short and sweet– just one drink and we were on our way home. Not the most exciting of experiences but at least we checked out Lincoln Park.

When I thought about writing a review about Beaumont’s, I questioned if there were even enough disgusting and negative words in the English language to describe such an atrocity. And when I stopped and reflected on my encounters with all the frat bros trying to relive their glory days, emotional breakdowns, watered down, yet somehow still roofie inducing drinks, and disgusting hookups(my friend took it upon herself to makeout with what appeared to be a 90-year-old man), I realize that no, there was not any such way to accurately describe a place that should only exist in my nightmares. So I’ll leave you with this: I would deliberately have a miscarriage while wearing white pants if it meant that my friends would never suggest going to this establishment to me ever again. This place had made me lose what little faith I had left in religion.
