I found a black hair in my salad! It was disgusting! When I told the clerk she just apologized! and I could no longer continue to eat after seeing that hair in my food! disappointed!

Delicious food, and the prices aren’t bad. The fried calamari is GREAT!

Good food and great locations. Half sized lunch portions are less expensive and still HUGE! Service was good.

First I would like to say is that the waiter was very friendly and was very kind to us. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the ladies seating us were on their phones for 30 mins before they realized they forgot about me.

I love cheesecake! One of my simple and yummy pleasures. I have never been disappointed in my cheesecake on all the years I’ve been going there. I may not always dine in but I will stop by solely for the cheesecake. With that being said… I understand the popularity of the restaurant. But, I’m so put off by the constant crowding and the apparent disorganization at times. Granted, if it’s not enough staff… they aren’t at fault. But, many of times I turn away due to the wait time.

I went to the cheesecake factory on last Saturday night to eat dinner. It’s my first time since I came to Chicago. I really want to recommand this restaurant because it has so nice staffs, yummy menus and good location. I ate a pasta, it tastes really good. I want to go this restaurant again!

I’m happy we came, despite the so and so reviews. We went to the 360 Chicago observatory. This place is a next to it, hidden gem in a great location.
Perfect place for a romantic dinner or bday celebration. For a Friday night, there was no waiting for a party of 2. Geat, fast service. Recommend Andrew to be your waiter, very nice and fast.
Ordered stuffed tortilla, orange chicken and a piece of cheesecake. We had to take half of the food to go because the portions are generous. Little pricey, but totally an indulgence worth it !!! Food fresh and hot!

Love the Cheesecake Factory! Will always go back here. Good service, amazing architecture (even the bathrooms are cool), well located, but overall amazing food. Try the macaroni balls, they are for real life changing, lol.

Prepare yourself for this tourist haven. It’s loud, hectic and dark due to the location in a below-​grade plaza. There are times I’ve gone in here, and the wait was over an hour. Today, I got right in. The ambiance is dark, with a distinctive Alice in Wonderland feel to all the curvy columns and bubbly ceiling.
The food wasn’t bad. Three mini loaves of bread as a start. The sweet corn tamale cakes were a nice appetizer. The lunch special was a little bit of a letdown since they were out of turkey. The Renee’s Special chicken-​almond salad sandwich was salty, and the small ciabatta it came on was dry. The side Caesar salad was fine, and the tomato-​shrimp soup was thick and tasty.
Our waitress was overwhelmed (aren’t they always at big family places like these?), but she was very nice and kept the drinks flowing.

Located on the sunken plaza at the base of the John Hancock Center. A somewhat dark room, with daylight from windows on the plaza not penetrating far into the labyrinthine interior. Decoratively a bit unsettling, full of pink, bulgy organic shapes – Jonah might have felt right at home.
We arrived around 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon. The place was crowded to the point of discomfort, but we were handed a pager, and seated within about 20 minutes. Our server came at once, though the food was then rather slow to be delivered.
The menu is typical of the Cheesecake Factory chain: Lots of variety, most things dependably well-​executed, portions probably too damned big. We ordered a couple of old favorites, and a couple of things new to us:
— Taco sampler. Four different kinds of tacos with four dipping sauces. Adequate as an appetizer for two, and could serve as a perfectly satisfactory entrée for one.
— Thai lettuce wraps. My wife’s go-​to Cheesecake Factory choice. Delicious and messy; a few toothpicks might help with some of the structural engineering problems.
— Cashew chicken. Big chunks of sautéed white-​meat chicken, cashews, green onions, white and black sesame seeds; rather dry, but what sauce there was, was mildly spicy. Choice of white or brown rice. Pretty good, though many Chinese restaurants do this sort of thing better. Probably not something I’d order again, with so many other dishes waiting to be tried.
— Mango Key lime cheesecake. Our usual favorite from among the large selection of the house’s eponymous specialty.
Restrooms clean, but at least one of the stalls in the men’s room was out of toilet paper; this had not been corrected fifteen minutes after being called to the attention of a server.
On all of the bus lines on North Michigan Avenue. Five blocks from the Chicago Avenue station on the Red Line.

«Atmosphere» is different here than other Factory restaurants as the décor us like being inside a fluffy cheesecake! Food is complimentary to the other restaurants though. It is always busy… we’ve dined here quite a bit and never been quoted less than an hour wait time. Chicken and biscuits and original cheesecake with strawberries to finish is highly recommended!

Bartenders are not able to talk about or describe their menu. Asked about a beer and was completely different! Not attentive during busy hours and can be hard to get a bar seat because of the number of people they let take it up waiting for a table. Food was relatively quickly prepared. Fries cold, boo! No one checks in. Better restaurant options close by!

Unbedingt hingehen! Herausragender Service, sehr gutes Essen und eine unglaubliche Auswahl leckerer Käsekuchen. Der Dutch Apple Caramel Streusel war wahnsinnig gut, Zitrone auch. Absolute Empfehlung :)

Was very busy, but used to that with the Cheese Cake Factory. Facility was clean and has a great look and feel.
A bunch of the guys were able to sit at the bar and order without a wait. Make it very easy for us to get in and watch the game at the bar.
One thing that we wish was upgraded… The TV screens at the bar were WAY to small. Must have been smaller than 32″ witch is almost a wast for having a tv screen up showing a sporting event. So… It’s not a sports bar. If your going to try and watch a game and eat… Go somewhere else.

Got the specialty shrimp pasta. Ugh service is slow but large portions. Pretty much what you expect from this place. Only come here if you have to.

Had just done the hop on hop off tour and this was close to where we got off. First of all we sat almost in the dark we had to request another table why do they have such dark lighting you need to use a flashlight! We were sat near the window the food is always the same in Cheesecake Factory so you know what to expect ! We had quesadillas and pot stickers to start — delicious– I ordered lunch size pasta carbonara but was still a big portion shared strawberry cheesecake for dessert really good.

Quitte à tenter l’expérience américaine jusqu’au bout, on s’embarque dans l’usine, la «factory» lookée comme une forêt enchantée et très bruyante, on choisit donc de patienter pour la terrasse et après avoir donné notre nom à l’hôtesse, on observe son efficacité, derrière l’ordinateur, dans l’accueil des clients, elle leur donne le temps d’attente suivant qu’ils veulent manger à l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur et petit à petit, des papiers sortent de son ordinateur, qu’elle place sur le nombre de cartes correspondant au nombre de mangeurs, et le bal des serveurs né s’arrête jamais, puisqu’ils viennent prendre ces menus et crier le nom de la personne qui réservé pour aller les placer, enfin tout ça pour dire que j’ai été très impressionnée par la machinerie et l’efficacité. La demi-​heure d’attente né m’a pas gênée puisque j’étais donc sûre que nous étions entre des mains honnêtes qui nous appelleraient quand ce serait notre tour.
La nourriture maintenant: la carte est énoooorme, des pages et des pages et encore des pages de choses qui, je l’avoue, donnent bien envie, mais ce soir là je n’avais pas très faim, je me suis tournée vers la carte spécial «compteuse de calorie» qui est une très bonne idée je dois dire, une sélection de plats plus diététiques et moins gras, avec le nombre de calories indiquées pour ceux qui veulent faire attention, ou comme moi, contrebalancer avec le cheesecake. J’ai donc pris une salade mexicaine très fraîche et bonne, que je n’ai pas fini (on m’a donné une boîte et des couverts en plastique, pensez-​y pour donner à un sans-​abri par exemple!).
Par bonheur, il me restait de la place pour le dessert et là je n’ai pas eu à affronter l’immense carte des cheesecakes, j’ai pris le classique qui était très bon, avec une couche fine de croustillant et un crémeux très goûteux, et pas trop lourd, contrairement à ce qu’on pourrait penser.
Pour conclure, personne né se ment à soi-​même et pense venir déguster de la grande gastronomie à la cheesecake factory mais une chose est sûre, on se fait plaisir !

This is my absolute favorite Cheesecake Factory location– it’s the one that I grew up with. The interior is really cool and unique, and it’s nostalgic for me. It’s always a pleasant treat for me when I get to go there.
Like other Cheesecake factories, the menu is huge, and the portions are too. You better come hungry, because the food is ridiculous. It’s a little bit pricey, but it’s worth it considering you pretty much get two meals out of it. Plus, the honey wheat brown bread is amazing all on its own, and it comes free to the table. The service is always great at this location– they’re always working fast and hard, and are always friendly.
Most recently, I went with two of my friends. We started with an appetizer, the Parmesan-​Garlic Cheese Bread. It was unexpectedly awesome. It was super cheesy and garlicky, and is one of the best garlic breads I’ve ever had. I’d definitely order it again. One friend ordered the Grilled Pork Chop with applesauce, mashed potatoes, and spinach. He devoured it, and thought it was exceptional. The other friend ordered the Fried Shrimp Platter, which is the only thing she ever orders there, so she thought it was great. I ordered my favorite Chicken Madeira, which was delicious as always.
Naturally, we also ordered cheesecake. Both of my friends ordered Fresh Strawberry cheesecake and really enjoyed it. I got the Mango Key Lime Cheesecake. It was pretty good, but I don’t think I’d order it again. It was too tart for me.

Thought it’d be funny to try one out while at this Chicago conference (nothing «wrong» with the brand, per se, but not my thing (you know?))– joke was on me.
It was 62 degrees in there. I had to blow in my hands the entire meal, and spent most of my time looking around at others and commiserating with them while they complained to their ‘other/​s’ about how cold it was. A single tear streaks down my cheek, as I’ve only got Unilocal at this meal.
In fact, I need to take a break from typing this to sit on my hands because I’m losing feeling in them.
Okay, I’m back– so what else about this joint? Highlight comes via the hostess station: these girls is a bunch of sour pusses, for real. The only time they smile is when they swing through a server station to flirt with a guy or talk trash about the one coworker also seating (possibly manager) who is obviously not like the others. I’ll just leave it at that.
They clearly lack knowledge about the concept of situational awareness, too. I’ve seen them give the gasface to at least a dozen families/​groups because, I imagine, they’re «not sitting down fast enoughjustsitdown, God!»
If you work here a few times a week, and stand at a crappy little podium with a map of the joint, you’ll likely be more comfy there. Customers, on the other hand, particularly ones that don’t frequent the place, want to gauge the light, or whether or not they’re sitting under the full blast AC, or are identifying exits, or who knows what but why is your sour little gas face in such a hurry to get back to the podium? You ain’t smilin’ or greetin’.
You just gasfacin’.
And you get paid by the hour, not by the guest (or gasface).
Look, the food’s good, right? But I can’t imagine ever coming back to this atmosphere.
Above comments are completely exclusive of my server, Lauren, who was rad. Although she kept calling me ‘sir’ when I’m obviously not that kind of customer, made it known, and she must’ve known anyhow because it was weird EVERY single time. I think this place breeds that sort of weirdness, though, and I encourage her to at the very least be aware it, best case scenario get outta there.

Came to this location right under or on the ground level of the Hancock building. It was a late Monday night.
If you really want to impress someone I would suggest coming to this location as I stated is located under the Hancock.
I came for desert only and got the Reese’s Cheesecake. It was extremely good but also extremely rich. I should of gotten a glass of milk to go with it.

This location is located at the bottom of the John Hancock building. It’s such a beautiful location! They are always super busy but the wait time is never too long. You can either eat inside or outside but I prefer eating inside because the fountain outside is kind of loud.
Service here is impeccable! I’ve never had bad service here. They get your food out to you pretty fast too.
We got the avocado egg rolls for our appetizer and it was OK. Not as good as other places. It was kinda too thick for me. Their calamari is amazing. I always get the fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and portobello mushrooms and I’m always satisfied about halfway through the entrée because it’s such a huge portion. My husband orders something different everytime we go from burgers to steak and he is always satisfied by the end of the meal. Their cheesecake here, just like any other Cheesecake Factory is to die for! I try to get something different every time, and I’ve never been disappointed. But I think my most favorite thing about this restaurant is the vibe. It’s dim in there with the beautiful city outside.

Décevant. Avant de partir aux USA, on m´a souvent dit qu´il né fallait surtout pas manquer ce restaurant.
Je n´ai tenté que le cheese cake Oreo, mais cela m´a suffit pour plusieurs raisons:
1. vu la taille énooooorme de la part, on est vite calé
2. la quantité né manqué pas, c´est sur. En ce qui concerne la qualité, vous pouvez repasser: trop gras, trop dense, pas assez de gout, trop lourd, trop sucré. Bref, trop de trop, tue le gâteau.
3. l´ambiance: une vrai usine à gaz, ou il faut faire la queue pour etre placé à une table. Le décor est vraiment bizarre, à la croisée entre le roquoquo bas de gamme et le psychédelique à cause des champignons dorés géants.
4. Les serveurs sont à la limite de l´agréable, à égalité avec certains serveurs de café parisiens.
Enfin bon, l´essentiel c´était d´essayer.

Das erste Mal in einem dieser Restaurants war in San Francisco. Heute das zweite Mal hier in Chicago. Das Essen ist einfach Top und der Käsekuchen ist fantastisch. Die Location ist nicht so atemberaubend wie in SF, aber wichtig ist ja, dass es schmeckt. Und das tut es! Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Was ich weniger gut finde, sind die grossen Portionen. Habe nur knapp die Hälfte geschafft. Der Rest geht in den Müll. Dafür gibt es einen Punktabzug. Es gibt mittlerweile Restaurants wo man die Grösse selbst bestimmen kann und wenn man dann was auf dem Teller lässt, zahlt man extra Gebühren. Das sollte es hier auch geben. So kann man den übermässigen Konsum einschränken. Ich habe mir noch einen Käsekuchen für heute Abend mitgenommen. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher das er hervorragend sein wird. ;)

L’endroit qu’il né faut absolument pas louper quand on va à Chicago! Service rapide malgré le monde, serveuses très souriantes. Les hamburgers sont délicieux, je n’ai pas goûter de cheesecake car je né pouvait plus rien avaler, vu la taille de mon repas! Allez y vous n’allez pas le regretter

Bön service malgré le restaurant bondé. Petit conseil: Si vous y aller, choisissez entre un repas ou un dessert parce que les portions sont très généreuses! Rares sont les personnes qui terminent leurs assiettes!

L’un des endroits qu’il né faut absolument pas manquer lorsque vous passez par Chicago !
Un super endroit, un décor reposant qui vous fais penser être au milieu d’une foret de champignon géant (bizarre à dire mais génial à voir) !
La Cheesecake Factory propose une immense carte, peut être un peu trop, le choix est large pour déjeuner ou dîner: les plats sont copieux et bons !
Seulement voilà, peut être un peu trop, car arrivé au dessert, vous avez une très grande envie pour leurs délicieux cheesecake et le choix est encore une fois gargantuesque (dans le bon sens du terme !) !
Allez-​y avec des amis, choisissez plein de leur patisserie délicieuse et vous n’avez plus qu’à partager :)

Hier weiß man nie genau, was einen mehr fasziniert: das phantasievolle Interieur oder die reichhaltige Auswahl an Kuchen aber auch herzhaften Gerichten.
Satt wird man allema (h)l und den Besuch vergisst man so schnell nicht!

Parfait pour un gouter ou une pause sucrée pendant le shopping/​visite.
Des burgers copieux et très gourmands. Mais c’est bien sur pour les cheesecakes qu’on y va.
Une carte sans limite quand on arrive au chapitre des cheesecakes. Des classiques aux originaux, il y en a pour tous.
Une étape obligée

Ein Besuch in der Cheesecake Factory lohnt sich! Die Käsekuchen-​Auswahl ist berühmt und das ist nicht verwunderlich. Die Kreationen sind einmalig, sehr lecker, wenn auch sehr süß und mächtig, aber durchaus eine Erfahrung wert. Vorsicht aber, wenn man vor der Kuchenschlacht noch etwas Herzhaftes essen möchte. Die Karte bietet von Pasta bis hin zu Steak alles an, doch die Portionen sind wirklich nach amerikanischem Vorbild, also groß. Selbst nach einem leckeren Pastateller muss man sich gut zureden, um im Anschluss noch einen Käsekuchen zu bestellen. Aber es gibt auch die Möglichkeit sich ein oder zwei Stücke mitzunehmen.

forcément, aux US, il faut y gouter, la qualité dépend de ce qu’on aime, il faut débuter par des classiques et pas s’aventurer de suite sur des gouts particuliers ! mais une part suffit pour se caler le ventre !

Leckeres und reichliches (!!) Essen. Die Inneneinrichtung sieht aus wie aus einem Märchenbuch. Die verschiedenen Käsekuchensorten sind phänomenalallerdings sollte man damit als Nachtisch vorsichtig sein, denn wer diesen vor seinem Hauptgang mitbestellt könnte in ein Füllstandsproblem laufen ;) wie gesagt, die Portionen der Hauptspeisen sind reichlich. Wer kleine Kinder hat kann sicherlich mit einem Besuch in der Käsekuchenfabrik ein strahlen in den Augen verursachen :)

Direkt unter dem John Hancock Tower befindet sich die «The Cheesecake Factory». Bekannt für deren aktuell 37 verschiedenen Käsekuchensorten, die nicht mit unserem Käsekuchen vergleichbar sind und auch nicht verglichen werden sollten: ein Stück ist derart sättigend, dass es fast schon als Hauptspeise durchgeht.
Das Restaurant mit seiner kleinen Drehtür ist witzig gestaltet: der Boden aus verschiedenen Stein in verschiedenen Farben, die Wände kunterbund und die Decke ähnelt Wellen, die, wenn das Licht gedimmt wird, einem näher kommen.
Die Karte ist so umfangreich, dass wir immer nur die Specials-​Tageskarte verwenden. Ich hatte Hühnchen in einer vietnamesischen Karamelsoße mit Reis. Den Reis kann man sofort liegen lassen, dann alleine das Gericht ist doppelt so umfangreich und groß, wie bei uns in Deutschland. Wichtig: es schmeckte hervorragend!
Also ich kann «Reindori», meinen Vorschreibern, leider nicht recht geben. Wenn man in «The Cheesecake Factory» geht, weiß man, dass es sich um kein Spitzenrestaurant, sondern eher um Massenrestaurant handelt. Aber dafür schmeckt es sehr gut!

Pizzas, pâtes, salades à des prix raisonnables. 15 $ mais aussi et surtout une quarantaine de gâteaux, cheesecakes différents. (chocolate pecan, fraise, chocolate Dutsch…).

Leider ist es nicht möglich in dem Lokal einen Platz zu reservieren. Trotz frühen Abend 6 p. m mußten wir über eine halbe Stunde warten um an einen Platz geführt zu werden.
Die verschiedenen Vorspeisenteller war noch nicht verzehrt, kam auch schon das Hauptgericht. Mein bestelltes Steak Diane war alles andere als medium und deshalb auch trocken. Den Käsekuchen gibt es in 30 verschiedenen Variationen und selbst der Original ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man den guten deutschen Käsekuchen kennt. Im Großen und Ganzen für amerikanische Verhältnisse ist das Lokal akzeptabel.
