The Frame Shop

It was a groupon that brought me here, but I will return shortly with two more pieces to be framed for several reasons. One, they did an amazing job and it was completely affordable. Two, the two guys who run the shop are funny, kind and open. They helped me with my selection and made it better than I could’ve imagined. Three, they support local artists ALL the time. It is the place artists go for support and framing which is so important.

Great, friendly customer service and value for your framed treasures! I went to Michael’s and they quoted me $ 365 for one painting where I got it for about $ 130 at The Frame Shop. Convenient parking and location too.

Micah has been great with the service provided. A true professional and very knowledgable in all types of framing. My boyfriend and I have had 7 pictures/​paintings framed all different sizes and they were all done within the week. If you want a more personable experience, I highly recommend it :)

I have had 6 pieces framed here. I had a canvas stretched and framed, a check matted framed with glass, I’ve had some other art work done as well. I got great guidance that help me choose the right style for the best price. I currently have another wooden sign being framed right now. My boyfriend and I wanted to like and support this business so writing this is disappointing. We just picked up two framed prints, one of which was put in the wrong frame and the other, a wooden frame, had areas that were scratched. Friendly suggestion: How about you use cardboard holders on the corners and not paper. Wow!
When my boyfriend placed the order he had a good conversation with the individual working, but on the day the order should have been ready no one thought it necessary to call and inform him that one of the frames had a moulding that was on backorder so it would actually be another week. After another week passed my second call was to see if the order was ready. The individual working said he would call me back once he found out but never did. My third call, an hour before they closed, he said the factory had told him it would be ready this week but did not give him a specific date or time. He said he would call them again to get a definitive answer and call me back, and never did. An hour later I called a fourth time and he said oh! I just got off the phone and they said you can pick up the frames tomorrow.
Having had lovely and professional interactions at April 7’s, FoundRe, Foursided, and Lakeview Art Supply, I can say this was easily the worst craftsmanship and customer service I have seen and experienced in regards to custom framing. Pay extra and go somewhere else.

I had two prints framed at The Frame Shop and had a great experience. Prior to this I never had anything custom framed. I was very pleased with the help and advice I was given while picking out the frames. After placing my order, the pieces were finished in one week and I was beyond impressed when I picked them up! The frames look amazing. Initially I was asked how important these pieces were to me. I responded that I just wanted something to hang on my walls. Now that the pieces are framed, I love the art even more!
I am very satisfied with the price I paid, the product and the friendly staff. I am already thinking about what else I can have framed!

Great experience at The Frame Shop, had a special signed framed by them perfectly, came out better than i had imagined. Would highly recommend and prices are good. May seem far from city but it is worth the couple extra minutes for the quality and price. Micah was a great help!
