This shop kicks. The Garment Room has cornered a niche on making an event out of shopping. Tiffany, owner and creator of The Garment Room hosts shopping events all over the country in major cities like LA, NY and Chicago. Her space in Chicago is killer, and occasionally she’ll host an event there where you’ll be greeted with; a bubbly smile, cold drink, some great tunes and racks and racks of some sweet articles of vintage clothing, (for both men and women). She has one of a kind pieces of vintage clothing from major designers and has refreshed the look to give it a modern approach to vintage. Some of the labels she carries are Dior, Halston, Diane Von Furstenberg, Pucci, and Chanel as well as several obscure designers and labels from the past, dating back to as early as the 1920’s through the 1980’s. And to give you just a taste of some of her clientele… Heidi Klum and Tracee Ellis Ross shopped at her last event in NY! I always find that special something for that special event and a few others that I work into my wardrobe, you can’t go wrong shopping here.
