The Iona Calhoun School of Ballet

AMAZING BALLET SCHOOL! My daughter loves going to her ballet class. During the one month off in the summer, she was so upset that she could not go to ballet class. Kudos to Ms. Iona!!!

My daughter has been attending this program since September 2012 and I have been so pleased with the instruction that she has been receiving. They performed at Winter Wonderland for their winter performance and the show was amazing. They do sponsor an Alvin Ailey trip which I thought was equally impressive.
My daughter has learned so much from this program and counts down the days until she can go to class on Saturday. Her teacher Ms. Iona really works with the young ladies to develop their skills. She is very reasonably priced compared to the top notch instruction that my child is receiving. I will continue to enroll my child into this program for as long as she’s interested, which will probably be until she is an adult. This is definitely a program that I would recommend!

This is a great ballet school. The instructors are top notch and your little ballerina will flourish in the classes. They even sponsor an annual field trip to see the Alvin Ailey Dancers, so the children can see what their future as dancers will be.
Highly recommended.

As a typical male, I must admit I have not appreciated Kai’s ballet classes … until I saw how elaborate and creative your program was. Trully impressive, especially the mixture of classical ballet with modern dance and elements of black history.
