The Terrace Grill

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The staff is VERY VERY rude especially the owner! You may stand there more than 5 mins before they acknowledge you even when there are no customers at the counter. They REALLY REALLY need some help with their customer service!!! The food is also not that good. Hopefully they will soon close this place down and put a new restaurant there with a friendly staff.

Love this place! It’s for the residents of Regents Park and this grill is amazing. We’ve gotten a few different things– shrimp tacos, alfredo pasta, wraps, fries, etc it’s all good. They deliver to our door, too!

I love this place! Extremely reasonably priced, actually, pretty darn cheap! And everything I’ve tried has been very good. Especially being that it is just downstairs from where I live!
I’m addicted to the sloppy joes. I could eat them all day everyday.

This place is probably the best thing about Regents. This restaurant serves only residents of Regents and their guests I believe. The food is good, fast, cheap, and convenient. I think the veggie burrito with the spicy salsa is the best. The grilled cheese and fries is pretty good too, but basically everything on the menu is good I hear.

Mario is an extremely good cook! Everything he cooks is excellent. From chicken salads to cheeseburgers to pastas…

Let me start by saying this…
I use to order from the Terrace Grill alllllll the time.
My meals of choice would be the grilled chicken club sandwich, the double bacon cheeseburger no freakin ketchup or bbq sauce, or breakfast. The food always tickled my fancy!
It was pretty good and cheap as hell. I always gave them two thumbs up! When they let me down! I ordered my double bacon cheeseburger EVERYTHING NO ketchup or bbq sauce! I repeated myself twice and had the lady to repeat my order… I waited… they delivered to my door of course. I took I bite out of what I thought was going to be a tasty burger when I tasted some nasty sweetness blended in with my bacon! There it was some damn bbq sauce/​ketchup.
I called them back. The cook who made my burger st8 lied and said that there was no ketchup nor bbq sauce on it and they didn’t want to remake my order nor did they want to give me my money back… Until I asked to speak to a manager! I spoke to the owners son who said they usually don’t do refunds. Needless to say I was livid but he sent my money right back to my door. I will never order from those suckas again! I rather walk up to McDonalds on 52^nd! CHUMPS!

Came here when we didn’t have time to go out out for dinner. Ordered fettucini alfredo with chicken and it was kinda bland. I tried my friend’s side order of mac n cheese and that was decent. Seems like a convenient place during the winters though. I would never actually eat there… so loud being right next to the pool and all the screaming kids!

Extremely good for the winter when you don’t want to go outdoors but still feel like getting out of your apartment.
They serve things fast and cheap and good! I ordered a chicken burrito that came with 2 sides and a can of soda. All that for $ 9 before tax. Loved the salsa that came it my burrito. Generous amounts of stuffing was given.
Service was okay. Not too bad. I asked for recommendations and she gladly gave albeit she probably suggested all the entrees to me…
Still, i’ll return. Especially when I feel too lazy to walk in the cold :)

I was a skeptic… this is the snack bar on the first floor of my apartment building, overlooking the pool. But the food is actually quite good, and extremely cheap considering. Deserves more business than it seems to get, although I expect it’s more popular when it gets really cold out.

This place is very fast, convenient, and inexpensive. I love their steak burrito and the salsa that comes with it =P They have slightly difference prices depending on whether you’re paying in cash or credit card.

What a little geml! It’s fast, convenient, yummy, and dirt cheap (substantial cheeseburger + fries + pop = $ 4?!). There is also a huge variety on the menu with specials that change every week. They deliver or can be picked up and the people who work there are super friendly. Everyone I know who has tried it has only had positive things to say so far. I would recommend anything with fries — you get a lot of them and they are full of thick potato-​ey goodness!
Oh and they also serve breakfast on the weekends. How great is that!
