Thunderbird Catering

One of several companies that provide the trucks that park outside of construction sites and other locations where there aren’t a lot of options for breakfast and lunch. I had pictured some soggy cellophane wrapped sandwiches, chips and drinks but it was better than a 7−11…and on wheels. They show up in front at a certain time each day with hot fresh food and ice cold drinks for way too cheap. Surprisingly big variety. I felt guilty paying $ 4 for a 24 oz. Coke, a hot sandwich and a side.
Also…tacos, rice dishes, bakery stuff, snacks, etc. The only bad thing, at least at this location, is that they show up way too early (around 9:30 AM) but I suppose most of their sales come from union workers that start at the crack of dawn. You don’t have to be working on the site so if you see one parked on the side of the road and you’re hungry go check one out just for fun. I’m sure they’d be happy to get the business.
