Trino’s Pizza

This is a great hidden gem! The Pizza, Jalapeño Poppers, and Cheese Fries are all awesome!

Great service and delivery, but that’s it. Pizza was mediocre at best. Cheese was bland, toppings didn’t help and it was cut into skinny triangles instead of the usual grid. What a disappointment

The pizza arrived hot and the delivery guy was super nice.

If I could give this excuse of a restaurant 0 stars, I would.
We called to order a pizza and when my friend had a question as to how many slices came per pizza or how many people did the pizza feed, the woman behind the counter (older. late 30’s) gave him a disgusting attitude. We went ahead and ordered the pizza (mistake #1).
When we went to go pick up the pizza, my friend mentioned to the cashier that someone on the phone was very rude to him. That very cashier happened to be the SAME woman that gave us a nasty attitude telling us shes not going to count each slice then proceeded to shove the pizza at us saying «you can count the slices yourself». We were all appalled as she continued to argue with us and give us a horrible attitude. When we decided we were not going to pay and leave she said «THANK YOU! You just made my day!» and continued to exchange some foul words to us.
Just so I am clear, this woman was excited that customers (that were willing to pay for an already made pizza) were leaving her store enraged with the quality of her service. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
The facility itself does not look like it holds up to proper health standards as the back of the kitchen’s cleanliness was questionable and I saw fly’s everywhere (disgusting). I will definitely be contacting The Food Protection Division of the Chicago Department of Public Health.
Run away from this restaurant as far as possible.

Who in the Unilocal community decides a reviewer hasn’t been to a restaurant? Somehow this restaurant recently got Unilocal to remove my friend’s genuine negative review. The review was from a few years back. We lived in the neighborhood then, and live there now. Can restaurants now pay to get reviews removed?

This is an okay place food is cheap but in my opinion nothing to really brag about. The only great thing about it would probably be the delivery service. They are fast. Your lucky if you walk in and catch the lady behind the counter in a good mood. The food is decent quality.

Got food delivered when I was working and forgot to bring my own. Food was okay, nothing too great. Good price for the amount of food.

This pizza is ok, which in any other city would make it a regular spot for me. But here, there are just too many outstanding options.

This has become our go-​to delivery place in Pilsen. We default to the BBQ thin crust, but have done cheese/​sausage thin crust and deep dish as well. The pizza is good enough, but what we value in the delivery service is the response time. Grubhub always estimates over an hour, but it’s never taken them more than 45 minutes, usually less.

I got a regular burger to try it out and I really liked it. I was able to order medium rare like I prefer and it was actually served medium rare. The burger was very juicy and tasty. They also have steak fries which were prepared to perfection. I discovered them through the Paypal app and it was nice to be able to pay through my phone.

The pizza here is nothing to rave about. It’s not special or spectacular. I could walk a few blocks west to Benny’s and have a better slice with better customer service. The woman behind the counter looked at me like I was bothering her but I powered through hoping to taste the «great» pizza my younger brother had recommended. The entire time she did not take a breath to ask me a question, instead she talked on her cell phone the entire time. I tried to order hit dogs as well but she wouldn’t even give me eye contact. Finally I got to order them and she run the bell and some guy came out from the back.
It is quite apparent that their French fries are refried because the ones we got were definitely not fresh. The worst part about it was the guy microwaved the bun. MICROWAVED!!! I am never coming back because these people do not deserve my money. I’ll just keep taking my hard earned cash to Benny’s.
