Uncle Bob’s Self Storage is the best I’ve ever used. The staff is always very helpful, especially the Manager «Kendra». She is amazing! She walked me through the whole process and was very sensitive to my situation. Not everyone voluntarily puts their belongings in storage. She made it so easy that it turned out to be a great experience! Great location and very secure. I have already recommended this Storage Facility to family and friends. 5 Stars for me!

I’ve stored my things here for about a year. It is a good central location close to many. The pricing is surprisingly low, even lower than some facilities further out. It is an older facility, but it’s completely refurbished, so cleanliness is outstanding.
All the storage spaces are indoor, but there are two enclosed unloading bays (one for dockable trucks, the other for cars, vans, and smaller trucks). Carts are available to move things between the docks and storage units.
The staff, anchored by manager, Kendra, is competent, friendly, and helpful. Any issues I had were quickly resolved. It would be difficult to find a Chicago storage facility better than this.

A wonderful storage facility not too far from downtown Chicago. This place is just a few blocks south of Costco. It is extremely clean and has indoor parking for loading and unloading. I had been renting a storage unit from a location in the South Loop, and this one is ½ the price. The whole experience in getting my storage unit was so easy and efficient. If you are a AAA Travel member, there is a discount.

The price is reasonable, the place is clean and easily accessible from more than one entrance. The people that work here are always friendly and helpful and they remember your face! I highly recommend this location.

Not only are the prices here WAY more reasonable than surrounding storage facilities, but the place itself is incredibly well kept and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Seriously, why pay more than you have to? I looked at other facilities closer to my home, like in the West Loop, Humboldt, WIcker Park, etc., but they are stupid expensive. This place, 5×5′ for $ 27/​mo. I was told it’s because this location just opened up less than a year ago and they are trying to get people in. Works for me. It’s storage stuff, I don’t need to access it every week. I highly recommend this place. Oh, plus they have a raised dock, and an inside car port so you don’t have to deal with the elements.
