University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center Cafeteria

I’m not high nor am I massively drugged right now, I promise. Sit back and let me explain the situation. It’s a Thursday night and you are laying in a hospital bed just having gotten out of emergency surgery. Now imagine you haven’t eaten since Tuesday at 4pmish, but, you didn’t really eat then either cause you ended up throwing up all night. So… back to the hospital room. Your stomach growls and you begin to think you might just have to eat your arm because you’re so hungry, after all it’s been over two days since you’ve actually eaten.
Now imagine a nice mirage of a guy bringing in a tray of food. Please, don’t even begin to ask what it was, cause really at this moment it doesn’t matter. The smell of whatever the food is fills the room and you literally can’t think what thing to eat first.
Now after being in this situation, ANYTHING tasted great, definitely a lot better than my arm would’ve tasted. Not to mention if I did that I’d probably be in the hospital longer and locked up. So, yes, the UIC Hospital food was AMAZING.
