Uptown Produce

I was pretty excited thinking that this new store, Uptown Produce
was opening 2 blocks away from my Apartment, I would have
somewhere really close by to buy my Healthy Type Stuff.
However, in my quest to be first to review which I am I walked in to
Uptown Produce this morning and found not very much in the way of
Produce, okay, I saw some Apples and Lemons but that was about it.
So, I asked the guy behind the counter how long they had been open and
he said like 2 days, and he did tell me he was expecting a shipment of fresh
produce items to come in later today.
Okay, so I walked around this wannabe produce store and they had a deli
counter in the back with like 2 different types of Deli Meats to choose from,
and there were about 8 aisles or so of various products at pretty inflated prices.
Now, the store does look fairly clean but hey, it’s day 2 and they had a whole
2 shopping carts available for use.
Uptown Produce is located in/​at Magnolia Plaza, a little strip mall at
Wilson and Magnolia, and honestly I can’t believe that I walked 2 blocks
with that Lake Wind blowing in my face looking for produce and wasn’t
able to find any!
Was’nt in the market for a lemon. had apples already too!
However, I wanted to help get their business off to a decent start so I did
buy a big can of V8. Hey, wait a minute. I did get some vegetables!
Seriously, I hope they do get their «Produce» supply in as stated.
But for me it was a wasted trip.
