Went in on Mother’s Day, it was crowded. I ran into a longtime friend. I knew she didn’t work there however she was up front calling names people to be served. She was helping because Vicky had made ppl so mad. Today I found out why. Vicky is very rude and obnoxious. After I sat there for 30 mins she sent two others to pedi chairs before me. So I went to the desk to mention that and she says«believe me I send no one ahead of you, you sit down and next time you pay attention, now go sit down» I was livid. I call my friend who I’d seen there on Mother’s day and she said after that day she no longer goes back. I will never patronize this place again. Sad because my nail is good.

Unknowingly the tech filled in my eye brows with pencil while waxing… I walked out looking like Freeda Kahlo first cousin. Also, apparently there was a mishap right before arriving. The nail tech had on an doused in pepper spray shirt and took it out on me while waxing my eyebrows… can we say ouch? Won’t be returning… for eyebrow waxing that is.

Owner snapped at young woman that was doing my nails and she had a melt down. Not a relaxing experience

I received the services of a manicure and eyebrows. Manicure I would give a 2 and eyebrows I would give a 5. Overall experience for services would be a 3. I recently moved to the Chatham area and live right around the corner from Vicky’s. This past Tuesday(August 5th) was my first time at the shop. When I walked in, I wrote my name on the list and waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged and 15 minutes before being sat at a nail booth. I guess they were kinda busy. MANICURE:($ 12) DONOT go to the male manicurist with the long chin hairs. I asked for square nails and only God knows what foolishness he was filing my nails in to. I almost had a heart attack when he tried to start polishing my non-square nails. Sheesh. After having him continue to shape my nail to a point of satisfaction, I finally gave the okay to polish. He almost forgot to add a second coat to my right hand and did double top coat on that hand too. SMH I never had such a forgetful manicurist. ALSO, he answered his phone and began talking while doing the top coats. Which would explain why he was so forgetful. I miss my manicurist in Maryland ;-(I will return to Vicky’s for a manicure just not with the guy with long chin hairs. EYEBROWS:($ 8) While getting my manicure, I noticed EVERYONE who walked passed me, fresh from the eyebrow chair, had their eyebrows SNATCHEDFORTHEGODS! I had planned just to get my nails done, but I wanted my eyebrows snatched too! The lady did a great job! She was a little quick when pulling off the wax strips and brushed my browns a little too hard but I think that was because she was rushing because she had so many customers(for eyebrows and nails).

I used to go to Vicky before she opened her own shop. She use to do a really good job on my brows but not my last visit she did a horrible job and filled then in with a dark pencil which was all bad since I already had on make up. She didn’t clean my skin before or after my wax. My skin was stinging from her rushing on my brows it look her three minutes. Literally snatch snatch snatch alright give me my money. I told her my skin was stinging and she proceeded to curse me out expressing how she doesn’t carry the proper materials for waxing eye brows. Long story short I won’t ever go back there. Totally disrespectful and way too much attitude for a business owner I’ll take my money else where

My first time going to Vicky’s nails was this past Saturday. I loved it! The staff was friendly & the service was quick as well. just get there early because it gets crowded & the parking lot is super small.

All in all, a good, solid pedicure. I wasn’t bowled over, but I wasn’t disgusted, either. Nice, modern massager-chair-thingies, but I either didn’t know how to work mine properly, or it was in need of repair. Either way, I was offered no assistance… The young lady who did my pedicure was pretty thorough(I have the tough heels of a barefooted marathoner), including a leg massage and moisturizing treatment. The design that I wanted to grace both big toes was executed beautifully, as well. I shall return!

I’ll begin the review by saying that the strip mall where the nail shop is housed has the worst parking lot. There are 5 – 6 businesses and maybe 10 parking spots. I was supposed to visit this business before yesterday, but a couple of weeks before AND the day before I drove around the block twice and decided to give up. Maybe that was a sign for me not to go. However, I wanted to check it out since it was new. I FINALLY got a parking spot and decided to check it out. I got there about 4:45 on a Friday and as expected, it was packed. I waiting about 5 minutes before I was guided back to the pedicure chair. I then waited for about 5 minutes for the technician started on me, which isn’t a problem because I like to soak my feet for a few minutes. The technician started my pedicure without any kind of hello or greeting, and the pedicure lasted about 15 minutes. It was so rushed and mediocre. I understand the place is busy and there were more customers to service, but there was no care given in regards to my pedicure. She did do a good job on the French pedicure, but other than that I don’t have anything positive to say about the shop. I doubt I will be back. For a $ 23 pedicure, I needed more.
