Vintage Poster Graphics

She will search no more …
Three + years, my sister has been searching for a specific vintage print/​reproduction. She fell in love, the minute she laid eyes on Eau Verdiere at Enoteca Vin in Raleigh, NC. When the restaurant closed — she contacted the owner to see if they were interested in selling the artwork. No response, her quest continued, she searched high and low.
Finally, there is hope! With all the weight riding on the visit: My visit, to check out this place she came across on the internet. They have an amazing amount of vintage poster reproductions. She wants it in the largest size possible and sends me to check out quality.
I enter the location and make my way up the stairs. I am greeted by a friendly guy and tons of beautiful reprints! I immediately let him know what I am in search of and he instantly thumbs through a stack reprints and pulls out the exact image. Perfect! I explain to him that we are concerned about the quality, once the image is blown up. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly; he reassures me that it will turn out beautifully. He brings out a sample of the paper the reprint will be done on. It’s nice, heavy and will allow for great color saturation. He notifies me there is a larger size available that’s not posted on the internet. I walk out extremely pleased!
I had hesitations going on this visit. I don’t know a lot about artwork and it’s obvious. I was nervous that this place would be snooty and make me feel uncomfortable about the questions I asked. This wasn’t the case at all. It was a great experience. Now, I just have to convince my husband that we need some vintage artwork as well!

This is a subtle tucked away treasure that you have to scope out if you’re in the neighborhood. This vintage poster gallery houses a tremendous number of posters in their original prints that you cannot find anywhere else.
The people there were extremely nice. They didn’t have exactly what I was looking for but they were even willing to send me to a competitor to help me find it. I think that’s a mark of truly good business people.
I didn’t find what I was looking for at the other place either, but now that I know what I’m hunting for, I’ll wait til this place gets it in so I can order it from them specifically.
