I bought 3 personalized bottles of wine for $ 45 here from Groupon. I couldn’t go in to bottle them myself any of the days that were offered, but Carol(I assume the manager or owner) has been extremely helpful to figure out what to do. I emailed her the photos and descriptions I wanted on the bottles on Sunday afternoon, and by Friday they were ready to be picked up! I think they will make fabulous presents! The store is having a huge going out of business sale right now. I plan to stop in again and try some more of their wine!

Wine bar meets winery! We went here last Friday for a friend’s birthday. The place seems perfect to get the night started — wine tastings, BYOFood, and plenty of good cheap wine! Plus they had live music! It was a little awkward at first as we had 10 people, all showed up with take out from our favorite places, and were the only ones in the place. But we basically got a private party(a few people showed up as we were leaving around 10pm)!! We did one tasting to try out the reds and then bought a couple bottles to enjoy during dinner! One of the owners said they do a lot of corporate events, but it’s a great place to hang out for a few glasses of wine! There was a $ 5 cover but your first glass of wine is free. I definitely recommend the cabernet or the full-bodied reds! Tastings are $ 12 and the bottles are around $ 12 — $ 17 which makes this place totally affordable!

I love this place– part wine bar/part winery. You can make your own barrel of wine, or buy theirs by the bottle or the glass. The women that work here really make the place, they’re so friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. You might find yourself making conversation with them almost as much as the people you’re with. AND on Friday nights they have live music(with a free glass of wine for the $ 5 cover). So you get a Friday night date with music, wine, and conversation– boys, do you know how much girls love this stuff?!? Seriously, you should go here.

This is a great one-of-a-kind shop in Chicago. I love the fact that you can come in and make your own«barrel» of wine which fills 31 wine bottles or buy one of their hand made blends. And you can have your very own label made($ 10 extra for one bottle)! What a great option for a special occasion. Think of the possibilities… They have 3 different types of parties that they offer. The options are a wine tasting, come and drink, or make/bottle your own wine. I think this is a great option for any group, business or pleasure. The folks here are pleasant and helpful and make you feel right at home. Now I just have to figure out what I want my personalized label to say!

Great laid back owner, and place to get together with a bunch of friends to create and bottle your own wine. The pre-bottled stuff is great table wine to have around at all times too! Highly recommend!

I attended the grand opening of this place last night. The best way to describe it is a wine bar meets a winery. There is a cozy bar area with a few tables and armchairs up front. In the back, they have an area set up where you can pick your wine and then have it bottled with a custom label that you design. If you want, you can even ask for changes to the wine(less sweet, more oak flavor, etc.) and they will create an entire new batch of wine just for you. It seems like a great place to host a party — the owners /manager said you can even bring in your own food. The décor was very cool — I especially liked the logo(which shows up throughout the place)… the round stain a wine glass would leave on a table.
