Worst pharmacy ever, the staff is comparable to the walking dead. The one & one pleasant staff member is the petite, curly haired Hispanic one. Talking to Conrad is like pulling teeth. He acts like you are bothering him while he’s reading his Twitter or something! They are pharmacy techs with the attitude of an Rph. I’m over it. I get it that they don’t make a whole lotta money. Maybe they are even understaffed? I’ve been told a prescription was ready via email, drive over and they haven’t a clue, NOONE can find it! Pharmacy text does not mean you have your Rph, take it from me, I used to be a national medical recruiter. Oh, one more tip, don’t have additional items to ring up because you will get the stink eye!!! Honestly, the most polite and pleasant tech was the sweet petite Hispanic girl with super curly hair. She’s probably the glue that holds the place together. I WISH I KNEWHERNAME! I will find out and update this. 4343 N Central = Walking Dead

The photo lab here is horrible. To just pick up photos you feel like you’re being a bother. They carelessly ruffle through the stack of photos so they have to check multiple times to find the photos. I placed 2 separate orders and they couldn’t find my 2nd. After no advice on what to do I said don’t worry about it I’ll resend them and so she told me she’d cancel the order. My photos were also very red. I told her that and she offered no apologies nor to reprint them. I’ll definitely be trying a new place to get my photos printed!

Don’t order photos here unless you just want whatever comes out of the machine. No interest in the quality of the print or customer service.

I was at the store one day looking for some Easter cards. It took about 15 minutes for me to choose them. When I came to the register and was standing in the line, a girl(red hair to arms) picked up the phone and said«girl in the jacket? Okay». I knew that was about me. I don’t know what was it about. When there was my time she was impolite. Not a nice experience.

Nicole is very helpful and informative, she made my visit enjoyable. She also had patience and knowledgeable about the different brands in the cosmetics department. Keep up the good work.

Not thrilled with the pharmacy at all. On 11⁄17 I needed an antivomit script filled for my 3-yr-old. The script was for 2 tablets, which I had to wait an hour for. Finally got home and tried giving my child the first dose which made him vomit again because they gave him pills(that need to be swallowed) instead of the dissolving tablets. I called at 9am the next morning and they told me that the doctor did not specify that it needed to be the dissolvable tabs. ??? Wouldn’t an experienced pharmacist gather that a 3-yr-old(they do ask for the DOB on record) cannot swallow a pill? The pharmacist then told me that they were going to call the pediatrician so they could send in a revised script. By 3:30pm the pharmacy had still not called the doctor, after I was clear that my child had been vomiting for nearly four days now and should have had some relief if they had given us the correct medication. I called the doctor immediately, they called the script in immediately and it took the pharmacy TWO hours before they even started to process the script, for only TWO tablets. So my child did not get his antivomit medication until 7pm that night. Never going to fill another prescription here again. CVS is so unbelievably fast, cheaper, and the pharmacists are much more proactive.

What can I say its a Walgreens the staff was rather friendly! When I asked where something was they walked me to it. that is the new standard for alot of franchises don’t tell the customer where something is walk them to it. Manager was still working at 11 o’clock at night

Watch out for missing refills if you go to this pharmacy. I had an RX transferred there with 2 refills remaining on it, yet I had 0 refills after only filling it once. Every employee I spoke with in the pharmacy, had a different story as to why that was, none of which turned out to be true by the way. So after being lied to, insulted, & hung up on more than once by certain employees I called Walgreen’s corporate # & explained the situation. What a difference! They were polite & after taking down all my info said I would hear back from someone. I was very surprised when I got a call from the pharmacy manager Peter, who was polite, apologetic, & most importantly fixed the error. I was in a car accident so playing with my medication isn’t something I want to have to worry about so despite Peter’s great customer service in that situation(which I called corporate to compliment him on) I never wanted to deal with that staff again. So 1 – 2 months later I was having a different RX transferred but it was supposed to go to the Fullerton & Central store, not Montrose & Central but somehow that’s where it ended up being sent. The RX had 3 refills on it when it was sent there yet this time it said it had 0 from the get go. So after calling the old pharmacy & the nightmare Walgreens again it was supposedly figured out that I did have 3 refills on the medication. I went to pick it up & it was ready but once again the bottle said 0 refills on it. So I go through the same song & dance again with the original pharmacy & this place(where it never should have even been transferred to!) but Walgreen’s didn’t replace the refills they stole this time, even Peter who had been so kind & helpful after the last incident seemed to have taken on the attitude of his staff. Perhaps because I didn’t call corporate first & complain this time, he didn’t feel any obligation to do the right thing or even be polite or listen. What a shame. They exhausted me to the point that they could keep the refills they stole & for that I’ll simply be filing a complaint with the Illinois Dept. of Professional Regulations about that store. What angry & cruel people they must be to have to resort to stealing medication from people who need it.

it’s walgreens. the customer service could be better. i think the register lady fell asleep while she was waiting for the receipt. I’ve never seen anything like it. Maybe she was just exhausted. It’s has a nice lil parking lot and has everything you need. the pharmacy is not 24 hours though

Walgreens and I have been having a torrid love affair for years. I keep spending my money there and they keep having great customer service, a clean place to shop that has almost everything, and photo processing department that does not mind processing my scandalous photographs!

This is my «default» Walgreens. They aren’t too far from my house and honestly, this might be the best Walgreens I’ve ever been to. The staff seems to care, they never have screwed up and they are open 24hours. They are rarely out of something, the pharmacy is accurate with their quoted times and I’ve never had an issue and been going there 5 years now.

Why am I Unilocaling on Walgreens? Because this is the best Walgreens ever! First, I love the coupons and deals. The staff actually helps when you ask for it. The shelves are always neat and organized. The pharmacy is a-mazing! There was one instance when I was feeling completely craptastic and fell asleep in the chairs while waiting to get an antibiotic filled. The pharmacist gently woke me up to see if I was ok, and made sure that my prescription was filled right way so I could get out of there. They’re also great at answering questions when you’re not ill too. Open 24 hours for anything you need… even Christmas Eve when you run out of powdered sugar making cookies!

This has been my Walgreen’s for a very long time. The head pharmacist is great… kind of just like the commercials. The pharmacy has a 24-hour drive-up window. The store itself is okay, but for some reason lately it seems like they’re cutting down their inventory and no longer carry many things that I look for. I find myself having to go to another Walgreen’s to look for these items. My mom has recently complained that they have a new manager that doesn’t seem to know how the coupons work and is constantly telling people that they can’t use them. I don’t know what his deal is as I personally have not encountered him. I sure hope someone comes in and salvages my Walgreen’s before it’s completely useless to me.

This is possibly the best Walgreens I have visited. The cashiers and pharmacy techs are very friendly and helpful. I don‘t have to wait for help or answer my question. In my opinion people are the most important. If they are nice and friendly you feel better. The place is aslo clean and well organised.
