I agree about the front desk employees, but I have to applaud Mitchell Smith, Head Librarian for «holding down the fort» as he consistently brings quality performances, lectures and mini-​art galleries relating to the African-​American experience to this difficult location. New authors readings, a killer jazz concert program on alternate Saturdays and I hear piano lessons will be coming soon. The community seems most appreciative of his efforts; this library is more than a place to stay warm or to research stuff on the internet.

These people are so rude, we only want library cards for the kids. Not child friends at all. Why are you working here, if you don’t like your job.
