One of my favorite spots to get chicken, always seasoned and fresh ! I would recommend Wiley’s to anyone in the westside of Chicago if you are looking for good, fresh tasty food.

I heard about this place from another Unilocal review. So I went there(I’m always on a quest for good BBQ). It was at the end of winter and from the curb into the street was flooded so I had to walk to the corner to get to the sidewalk. There’s a liquor convenience store at the corner, a panhandler was begging, you have to be aware and be careful in this area. On to the food, this is is small ma & pa place. I got rib tips. Well I got home & couldn’t wait to taste them because it smelled good. The bag seemed heavy so I thought they were generous, but that wasn’t the case. They filled the bottom of the container with fries and put a small amount of tips on top. I like fries so I said okay, but after tasting them they were cold and stale, tasted several days old. I eat rib tips a lot but these tips were 90% fat. Poor quality meat. I tossed the entire order in the trash because I was too tired to drive back there, plus the area didn’t seem safe. I didn’t call to tell them because they prepared it, so they had to know they were passing that garbage off as a meal. They sell chicken and other items but I won’t be going back, I don’t like wasting my money.

This is my third time coming here and even though I live on the west side of Chicago I have just started coming here within the last month. First of all the neighborhood which it is in would make you think twice about stopping but since I am familiar with it, it doesn’t bother me at all. I love the rib and tip comb. I am not a big meat eater but I can’t stop coming here! The links are to die for not hot and the rib tips are great! I would have given it five stars but the wait can be long at times and I dislike the location. Other then that the food is great! They have soul food as well but I am just getting my feet wet so I would have to see! The service is great and the food is too!

My husband and I stumbled on this place one late afternoon, and decided to order the tips & links, tips were tasty however there was a great deal of oil mixed with our fries so the fries were inedible, the links were good, my husband liked it he’ll go back, I on the other hand am on the fence.

A hidden gem of the West side. Of course you have to be ready to see some sights if you’re not used to being on Madison Street near Pulaski. These are some of the best tasting and best priced rib tips I have found in the city. I never would have stopped here due to all of the hanging out on the sidewalk, but someone had brought some ribtips to lunch and they were delicious. They are worth the trip and the panhandler deflection. They have a really good, juicy jerk chicken. The wings are really good also. You can call in your order so you don’t have to wait. They have all kinds of soul food, also. I’ve never tried that.
