Recently had an appointment here. The office is clean and open and everyone on staff is quite nice and helpful. My dental hygentist was delightful… she explained everything to me, and I mean everything… I walked out of there knowing more about teeth and the inside of my mouth than I ever thought I would. I really appreciated that they told you what they were going to do before they did anything. So thrilled I found my new dentist!!!

I went to North Pier after several REALLY BAD experiences with other dentists in Chicago. North Pier was wonderful! The staff was extremely professional. They did their jobs thoroughly and efficiently. They don’t have all the spa amenities like massage chairs or on-​demand videos — but they didn’t try to sell me services that I don’t need, either. I did really enjoy seeing pictures of the inside of my mouth. (That was cool!) There were no hassles with scheduling the appointment or with insurance paperwork. Dr. Couvelis was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

I recently visited the good doctor and he was able to fit me in immediately. He didn’t pressure me into any procedures and outlined all my options.
He then recommended someone to perform a root canal and he actually called them personally to set up the appt.
I’ll defininitely be visiting him again and he will be my permanet dentist.

Dr. Couvelis and his staff are a wonderful surprise that will inspire you to change your belief that a trip to the dentist has to be scary. You are greeted by two smiling and cheerfully witty receptionists, who go out of their way to make you comfortable in this new environment. After your short wait, you forget you are even in a dentists office.
Another suprise is that the entire office staff, hygenists and all are extremely pleasant and eager to keep you comfortable and pain free.
I went in and required a rather tough and painful procedure, but they staff took great care of me, and I will most definitely go back.
Dr. Couvelis is also a great person, he goes into great detail to tell you about what your case is, and why it happened. I really wish all of my dentists in the past had gone to the trouble he does to inform me of everything going on.
Dr. C has helped to fix all of the problems that my former dentist caused for me, and is very proactive about dental health. He’s a straight shooter and I’d recommend him to anyone.
