I got married at Wooden Gallery in 2001. The wedding was beautiful and ideal. We had family in Chicago, friends all over the place but especially in the midwest. The venue and guest experience was a dream. However, the band's vans got towed from the back alley where they were told to park (this mistake cost the band most of their $$ so we paid them again). Some rules changed between when we signed the contract and when the event occurred---this was upsetting. Our host (I can't remember her name) was snooty. I don't regret holding my wedding there. It was a well choreographed ballet and a party to beat all parties. We went with heavy horsdourves (sp? sorry) instead of dinner. There were 3 diff types of salads served and some other great stuff. We were pretty much forced to use their caterer or else suffer higher dues but the food was fantastic. I have many more stories, mostly good, about the event. I wonder why there are so few reviews and little access to interior photos. I wonder if I'm the only one who had a mixed experience there.
