Last year, I saw zombi walking on Andersonville streets and I was surprised and impressed and wanted participate. Waiting for this to come, and I did! OMG~, It was an amazing fun event. It started afternoon 2pm and stopping by 5 – 6 bars and ending at Mary’s burger 2ndF attic. It’s better than Halloween. Awesome. I love to plan and prepare in advance for better costume next year.

unlike traditional zombies, BEER-ains is what you’ll hear the zombies on this bar crawl asking for! i went on the ’09 crawl last minute, extremely hungover and with a few friends. best. bar. crawl. ever. by far one of my favorite experiences in chicago. even if you’re not an zombie fan(i don’t consider myself one,) this crawl has a wide variety of people in it — there were some zombies who looked like they had their makeup done professionally, while others just had a spot or two of «blood» around their mouths — so it’s easy to fit in, no matter what your makeup or wardrobe choice. the bars in andersonville are perfect for the crawl too — they’ve all got there own personalities(one bar bought dry ice and decorated the place head to toe,) and you won’t run into another other crawl groups like you would in wrigleyville. i’m already counting down the days until our next invasion!

What’s worse than 500 drunk people? 500 drunk people with gapping flesh wounds dripping blood and puss on everyone. 5 stars and filled with zombie excitement. Andersonville may not have us back, but it was a blast. Mary’s attic was great and I think In Fine Spirts may be cleaning blood of their walls for the next week. Can’t wait until next year!
