This food truck is perfect for entertaining. We had a party of 70 and the pizza was fabulous, they kept coming, and they were hot. They set up a table to serve the pizza and also served salad. At the end, they served gelato and a dessert pizza. The staff was wonderful and also entertained with tossing the pizza dough, etc. I would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed! Our guests were very complimentary! Thanks to The Pizza Via!

This is the absolute best food truck that’s ever sat at the end of my block. Which is to say it’s the only food truck that’s sat at the end of my block, but that recently changed when Imperial Oak Brewing opened up last weekend. I found out that The Pizza Via would be there today and hello? Food truck. End of block? You do the math. I try to try the weird food items whenever possible. I mean, I could make a plain old sausage or pepperoni pizza in my own oven at home. I wouldn’t even have to walk to the end of my block for such a thing. But this, this had to be special, so I went with the Italian Beef pizza. According to the website this is: Hand made Italian Beef, giardiniera, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella. It was all of those things. The claim on the side of the truck is that the oven reaches 1000 degrees and can cook your pizza in 60 seconds. Well, it took a little bit longer than that, but I’m not complaining. The lady at the window was super-duper friendly and accommodating. And when I told her I was going to take my dogs and wait over in the grass she was all too willing to flag me down when it was ready. The pizza was just okay. It sounds like it would be a fantastic combination of flavor exploding in your mouth, but the truth is, there wasn’t a whole lot of flavor beyond the cheese. The beef is very thin and just doesn’t hold much flavor on its own. And the giardiniera and peppers just kind of blended into the sauce. Plus the crust was too thin to sustain itself and was almost paper thin in areas, while the end had blackened marks on it, and was a little bland. Would I visit The Pizza Via again? Sure, especially if they visit the end of my block again. But I don’t think I’d seek them out purposefully for a return visit. I hope that as time goes by they improve their flavors, and I’ll be sure to update this review with the new things I try and their success.
