Small, cozy restaurant with great food, friendly staff, and good prices. But why do I have to be so far away from them? I came into Chickamauga via train on the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. I knew what to expect: it would be a mad dash to see who could get to the restaurant first. FYI: I was first. The lady who seated me was friendly, polite, and knew what was coming. I got my food and drink quickly because, well, I was first, remember? But what I noticed was that even those who came in second, third, fifteenth, still got their food pretty quick. About that food. It was great. It wasn’t out of this world, but it was very good BBQ that I thoroughly enjoyed. The meals are small, more like a café portion rather than a restaurant portion. But this was their special Saturday lunch menu. All in all, this is a great restaurant to visit while in Chickamauga. I will definitely visit here again so I can sample some of their other menu items(their full menu is about six pages long and full of everything amazing you could possibly imagine).
