Bill Delgardo is an outstanding human being and a caring and super efficient piano mover. He took out our Yamaha upright and loaded it on the Penske truck headed to San Diego for our son. He comes prepared with evreything needed for the job. He even lent us a tie-down strap. And, he cleaned out the dusty insides before loading it into the truck. Extremely reasonable too.

Bill moved our baby grand lickety split with all the proper equipment and his complete and professional knowledge of piano moving. He took meticulous care and was very pleasant. We recommend Bill.

I was moving a big heavy old piano up from a friend’s house, and I was late meeting with him after I got out of work. Still got the job done without a problem. He was quick, friendly, and had the proper equipment to get it done without damaging the piano. Good stuff.

Bill is awesome! If you are in the piano world at all you will hear his name over and over and that is because he’s the best! Nice guy, reliable, flexible scheduling and affordable! He has moved several pianos for me including a huge square grand and a regular grand. He can do it alone too. He drove to Yuba City for our grand and brought it to Chico and it was very affordable and there is NEVER any damage in the moving. I wouldn’t hire anyone else!

Felt hesitant to call in the first place as reviews on other sites seem very much so planted(close in date range, exact same writing styles, etc.), but as Ruhnke appears to be out of business this is the only actual piano mover we could locate in Chico. While he was at least cordial enough to provide the names of a couple other businesses that may move an upright piano into an upstairs unit, this information was conveyed in a rather unpleasant tone, and I will add that I am putting this more politely than my generally congenial husband that actually made the call. Disappointed, but going with Sorenson’s and hoping for the best as other places in town were asking $ 225 – 300 minimum as they required booking a set amount of time as standard with regular moving companies.
