When my partner told me she was interested in finding a doula for the birth of my second child I was a bit confused. After a quick trip to
I, being an old school traditional kind of guy, was a little concerned about bringing another person into such a private moment. I’m very happy that I let go of my old world patriarchal baggage and agreed to have Sara assist us in delivering our son into our arms. Sara was absolutely amazing. She stayed at our side for the 30+ hours of labor and was great support after our little guy was born. She went above and beyond what I expected. I cannot stress how grateful we are to have had her at our side. Highly recommend!

The Nest and Chico Doula Circle are fabulous! The four doulas of the circle are wonderful and the workshops they hold for their clients are informative and helpful. Nichole was the doula present during my labor and birth and she was absolutely wonderful. She came to my home and helped with labor positions and advocated for what I wanted at the hospital. The Nest is also a wonderful place with many great services that are needed in communities and I am glad we have it!
