I loveee this store! If u want to add some color in your house just come here! U will find the perfect item that makes all the difference at ur place. Some things are over priced but overall it’s a great place.

What have I been doing all my life! This place is great ! I love their selection of househile items and fun costume jewelry.

My husband and I used to shop at this store frequently. We spent a great deal of money in this store. However, over the past six months or so, it has really gone downhill. After complaining a month ago about poor customer service, we finally went back today… again, bad customer service. Last month when we were there, we were looking for Cupcake brand Red Velvet wine. We have purchased it there for years. Every time we ask for help in the store over the past six months, even when there are no other customers in the store, employees there just point and tell us to «go look» in whatever direction they are pointing, and then when we can’t find it, they act soooooooo put out to have to actually help us. With the Red Velvet wine incident a female employee told a young male employee to help us find the wine. He went back to the wine department and asked us «Do you care what flavor it is?» Helllooooo, Red Velvet, not chardonnay, merlot, etc. He says, «Oh, we NEVER carried Red Velvet.» Really? We purchased it here for years. He just walks away. When we went in today, there were only two or three customers in the store. We were second in line, but another employee took us to another check stand to supposedly be waited on faster. However, the check stand that we had been in previously had gone through a couple of customers (we would have been out of there by this point), and the checker in the first check stand was having an issue with a young man trying to use his girlfriend’s debit card. So our checker pages the girlfriend, turns her back on us, and she and the other checker just stand there, looking off into space waiting for the girlfriend to show up. When my husband got fed up with being ignored and said «See ya,» she briefly turns around and says «Sorry, guys» and lets us walk out.
And if you dare think about using the women’s restroom, think again. It is so filthy gross, the floor looks like it’s covered with mud!

In all my years, I have never had a single rude or frustrating experience with any of the employees here. Some of them are in fact downright fantastic and my day is better having just interacted with them because they are so friggin’ outgoing and adorable.
The only real negative aspects I have encountered seem to come from above. For example, no site-​to-​store shipping or transfer between the different stores. They were having a buy one, get one free sale on a pillow I’d secretly wanted for months, but I could not bring myself to spend $ 25 on it because, well, cow print. Apparently I was not the only one that could not justify the expense until it became half-​off as it was the only sold out style among their plethora of pillows. I scoured the store until I found one hidden and lovingly cradled it as I went to check out, hoping perhaps they could just do it at 50% off instead. They unfortunately came back with a no, but that they could do a rain check. No other pillow there captured my heart the same way, so I told them I preferred that route to picking out a lesser pillow.
A while later I got a call letting me know that it was going to be a while until they got more in – almost three months — so I could come pick something else out. I told them I was fine continuing to wait because by the time it came in, I would have forgotten and it’d be like Christmas again. When February finally rolled around, I got a call letting me know the pillow had arrived, and I could come pick it up.
I went in to get it which went without a hitch and since they have an abundance of tasty snacks, I got some of those, too. Not gonna lie, I especially love when they release the $ 10 off $ 30 or more coupon and I have a $ 10 reward certificate from their Explorer program because they do stack. Do this around, say, Christmas with their clearance candy and oh my god, you are set for weeks (or days depending on your household). Seriously, sign up for their program — it’s free and you get really good coupons on a fairly frequent basis.
All-​in-​all, I will miss you, Chico Cost Plus World Market. I am moving away this week and you have been an enjoyable part of my time here. If the policy ever changes from no go at all to having free site-​to-​store or store-​to-​store, you will be an overall five-​star store. At the very least, your employees always have been to me. :)

Great place to shop.

Always a fun place to shop for everybody. Tons of awesome home décor and unique food. I was able to knock out a majority of my Christmas shopping here, there really is such a variety of stuff.
Favorite finds: dried cantaloupe, tropical tea, holiday poppers, fun drawer knobs, awesome gift bags, stackable mugs, and a beer sampler from around the world-​called «the best gift ever!» by my newly 21 year old friend.
Some prices are amazing, and some prices are «you’ve GOT to be kidding!!». If you sign up for their emails you do get great coupons from time to time.
The staff here sucks though. They always seem really rude and rarely address you, even while checking out-​they just continue on chatting with their coworker in the next check stand. But I had a manager help me with something before and he was super nice at least.

Great store with a variety of items. Most of the stuff is foreign looking stuff made in China, but they do have a few unique trendy type items for the kitchen and some hard to find sauses here and there.
