Erin Wooldridge

Erin did my make-​up for my graduation. She is extremely detailed, clean, professional, and informative. I feel so lucky to have found her being that I’m not originally from Chico. I loved my make-​up! It lasted all day and night. I highly recommend her! She is an amazing artist.

For Chico, Erin really is as good as it gets. Although I’m now in grad school in LA, I was born and raised in Chico – I know how difficult it can be to find good makeup without having to drive to Sacramento. Erin is a true artist. She was a makeup artist for many famous films (her imdb:
) and continues to work in the industry when she feels like it. Going to Erin is not like going to a clinique counter or crazy mac store– using high quality makeup Erin mixes color and matches your skin tone perfectly, right in her own studio. She can make it as dark/​thick as you need it to cover acne scars or light to just have that soft coverage. She can add moisturizer or sun block, etc. She can teach you BOTH how to look like you just left mac or like as casual as clinique. She works with many lines of makeup, choosing the best products from each line, in addition to mixing her own makeup.
She’s a gem of knowledge. While I was there she taught me some ‘tricks of the trade’ for makeup application. She is truly talented, which you will be able to feel when you enter her studio. The studio is in the back of her home here in Chico, so for those of you who prefer the makeup counter at Nordstroms this might be a bit different. However, for those artists out there who know true talent, you will feel right at home. I will definitely return! Feel free to contact me if you have questions about my experience. By the way, in LA you would pay at least $ 250 for this experience (which is quite a bit more than Erin). The previous Unilocaler was right on… she does not push her product at all and she is a very good, patient teacher. Definitely not worth the drive to Sacramento when you have this here in town! Erin put together a really great foundation for me and I love the way it’s uniquely formulated for my exact skin tone. What I really love about her is how NOT pushy she is with her products. She has a lot to offer, but she doesn’t try to force you into anything like some people do.
She is so knowledgeable and I like her approach to teaching you how to make the best of your natural features. I can’t wait for more lessons!
