Best Dentist in Chico. Super kind and gentle. Really cares about you and your mouth. Coming from someone who used to motivate himself drastically to go to the dentist.

I’ve always thought a dentist was just a dentist but a recent broken tooth changed my opinion. I called to see if I could get in to find out the office hours had them as closed that day but there was an emergency number left and when I called it and left a message I got a call back from Dr. Fowkes himself who came in on his day off just to take a look at the tooth and make sure nothing serious was going on. Since it didn’t turn out to be an emergency he shaved off the sharp edges and set me up with an appointment first thing on Monday (Broken tooth happened Late Thurs night and called Friday morning — was seen friday afternoon). Doc was able to remove old filling, replace with a new one and re-​shape the tooth back to normal as well — never had that kind of customer service based dental experience before — I definitely recommend him!

No one LOVES going to the dentist, but honestly Dr. Fowkes makes my dentist visits almost painless. He is gentle, kind and very efficient. His staff emulates his leadership! I highly tecommend Dr. Fowkes!

I have been lucky enough to have been a patient of Dr. Fowkes for over a decade. During this time, I have encountered nothing less than the best treatment. The office is seriously one of the cleanest places I have ever been to. The support staff are all top notch and extremely personable.
The good doctor is both patient and extremely good at recognizing which patients need a little more reassurance. In addition, Dr. Fowkes is great at communicating and is able to perform the required work QUICKLY.
I live about 3 hours away from his office, but I still drive it, just to go to this dentist. He is that good.

We have a family of five that has been going to Dr. Fowkes for years. So glad we found this office! They are very good, professional, and even my teens don’t mind going there! I would absolutely recommend this dentist office for your or your family’s needs.
