I work late nights, so sometimes I will go through the drive-through on my way home. I feel like the employees think that every one of their paying customers after 9pm are just drunken people. They are rude, slow, and make you feel like white trash. So many times I have asked for added extras and they have never given It. Tonight I came through and ordered a burrito with extra cheese, got home and there was seriously no cheese at all to be found on this burrito! I’m honestly not one to really complain, but I called the Store back and told them that I paid $.40 extra for cheese and there was not a single drop of cheese on my Barito. The employee proceeded to tell me with extreme attitude might I add, that she herself when in the back to open another bag of cheese to make sure there was extra cheese on my burrito. I really didn’t want to argue, I just wanted to make sure that she knew it’s not OK to charge people for extras when literally they don’t put anything on at all, and she told me if I didn’t like what they did I could eat somewhere else. I know it’s a drive through and I know it’s fast food but please Jack-in-the-Box find people who have class, who can read the screen, and you can follow through on orders when charging people for extras. I know it’s just cheese but in all honesty it’s the principle of the matter!

The manager himself personally introduced me to minichurros and Oreo Shake – try it. Best thing I’ve ever had at a Jack in the Box. The managers seem to really be stepping up their game in regards to customer service. The two gentlemen that I’ve seen as managers have gone specifically out of their way to not only ensure our order was right, but be personable and crack pretty funny jokes along the way. In fact one late night Jack in the Box run, where my friend and I were particularly indecisive, the manager took our order and recommended special items/variations not offered on the menu, all by being pretty witty and personable. So we had a custom-tailored order and then… They served it to us while we were at our table. Small things matter. The clientele is usually pretty sketchy – but that’s expected for downtown Chico. Sometimes this place is a little slow, and regular workers could be nicer(compared to the managers). Nonetheless, all this plus the fact that Jack in the Box simply put a restaurant in this super convenient location(especially for college students) makes me give it 4 stars.

Slowest Jack In The Box I have ever been too. Lousy customer service!!! And once I got my order, it wasn’t even right.

Horrible service. Pretty typical for a jack in the box. Was not greeted by anyone at the register for about 10 minutes. I think the manager was training a new person, but nothing; not even a simple«we’ll be with you in a sec» or anything. Was finally helped by another worker coming off lunch. So, best bet is to hit the drive through.

Food is good but usually understaffed and slower than they should be. Team leader Krista always unpleasant.

There’s two reasons why I put only one star: one; Unilocal requires at least one star & two; the guy gave me extra fries. I don’t recommend you come to this place unless you’re starving & only have enough for two«crummy» tacos. The place is filthy & the bathroom is worse. The workers were constantly talking & messed up on multiple orders. This is freaken FASTFOOD& they literally took 10 to give me my Curley fries. The workers tried to be courteous after the fact, but that was 12 minutes too late. Oh & by the way if you want to get inside the place you have to wrestle through the horde of homeless people, good luck. It’s a fast food joint, but hey, have some standards.

Only good for the free tacos. It’s dirty and the employees aren’t the nicest. The people that come here are usually very sketchy folks, college students, and the homeless. Dirt and stains adorn the joint, a foul smell near the restroom, and sadly ruining the atmosphere with its presence being at the central plaza of Chico. As stated, only when I want the free tacos but do avoid upon all else. They’re also not very fast for a Fast Food restaurant, and since the Enjoy Terriyaki across the street is not filled with flies, serve faster on larger portion, and much better quality of food. I’m surprised this Jack in the Box is not out of business yet. The one extra star is just for two free Tacos. They also forgot to give me my receipt.

Only giving this 1 star because the customer service and food were decent. The restaurant was dirty, the bathrooms were closed, their ice machine was broken. Took forever for the food to arrive. Just about the worst Jack in the Box I have ever visited.

This jack in the box is a breeding ground for homeless. I feel uncomfortable even walking up to it because at any given time on almost any day there are 5 or more homeless people sitting right outside the doors. The inside is dirty, the bathrooms are filthy. The service is slow and most of the workers are not very kind. I waited 15 mins for a medium sized order and in this time I would say a good 10 homeless people came inside and ruddily asked for water cups. The stench they gave off made me not want to eat when I finally did get my food. This location needs to clean up the inside and outside visitors. One thing they could do is LOCK the bathrooms and require a key to PAYING customers, and stop handing out water cups and charge for them.

they must have changed their staff, they were quick and polite to me, especially the guy who was in charge(he had tattoos), one of the politest people I’ve met

Slowest fast food place in town. My order gets messed up nearly every time.
