Matt Dunckel

I have been going to Matt for massage for years. He is the best. I now live in LA, and have for the last five years. Whenever I am visiting up north, I always make sure matt can fit me in his schedule. I have yet to find someone in LA that is as intuitive and gifted as Matt. He is always very present and does not just go through the motions like so many other massage therapists. He movements are fluid and never choppy or rushed. He is very flexible and can read what your body needs.
I would highly recommend him.

I saw Matt for about a year while getting medical treatment in Chico for a chronic illness. He was a HUGE part of my healing. He helped retrain my muscles to be calm and to believe in the power of my body.
He uses different techniques depending on your issue and is really sensitive to how you feel afterward so he can adjust anything for next time. His prices are so reasonable and if I bought a package, I got even a better deal.
Since moving, I haven’t been to anyone else even as close to as wonderful as him. I’ve even considered doing a little retreat for myself in Chico just so I can go. Also, he’s downtown in an awesome spot which is easy to find and nice to walk around before or after your appointment.
Matt is one of those people that just has really good energy that is contagious.

I saw matt for the first time a few years ago after my roommate recommended him. I had an amazing experience and continued seeing him until i left chico about a year ago! I still even schedule visits for when I go up to visit old friends.
