Finally I am back in my apartment after the mold has been dealt with for the fourth time. I have been living in an apatrment with mold in the kitchen wall for two years. Six weeks after I moved in I told the then manager for ISM that the wall was black behind the door. I was told by the maintain man that some bleach or vinegar would take it out. This was after I told the manager that I was a person with asthma and I could not breath the mold. After I informed him I had neither bleach nor vinegar he told me I could get them at the store. I called the office and again asked for someone to get rid of the mold because if there was mold showing on the outside of the wall their has to be mold inside the wall especially since the kitchen was on the otherside of the this particular wall. The maintenance man was so angry at having to return he simply cut out the bottom of the wall and said there was no leak. He said the moisture was gone. Fast forward 18 months and I go into the kitchen one night 6 months ago to put a glass in the sink and return to bed when I noticed my pajama bottoms were wet. I go back in the kitchen to find the source of the water. While I was down on all fours looking for the water by the sink I felt water dropping on my head. I look up in time to have water dripping in my face. The water was comming from the light fixture so I immediately call the emergengy maintenance number because it was comming down at a steady pace. When the same maintenance man who wanted me to get rid of the mold myself arrived my heart sank. He said he would check upstairs with my neighbor directly over me. I asked what I should do and he said«turn out the light». The next day, monday, I went to the Office to find out when they would come and fix the problem and the same man said«they had to much to do to worry about my little problem. « Fast forward March 18th the day they did the inspection when I pointed out how not longer than 6 weeks earlier I hung a new mirrow on the wall and the wall was white and now it looks yellow, they stuck a gadget in the wall that said there was 42 percent moisture in the same wall with the mold from aprox 2 years earlier that they told me they could not find any water in, in 2014. So the leak continued for two years and I have been using the kitchen to prepare ninety percent of my meals. My lawyer told me to get a chest x-ray becauseb of the events I have described.

I saw multiple ads on line for apartments so was driving around the parking lot when approached by a rude guy claiming to work there. I never even bother parking and going in to the office. If he feels the need to be so hostile, I can’t imagine that is a place I would want to live.
