Very unfriendly staff in the bookstore. I was a vendor for a show last weekend and was in desperate need of a WiFi connection. Despite them having WiFi, they refused to give me the password so I could use the internet for 1 minute. What is the world coming to when you can’t help a guy out with a WiFi password? Maybe they don’t know it’s free? Maybe they’re just mean? I’m thinking the latter.

Website is misleading. Very unfriendly people. It’s like they didn’t even want us there.

Was on Farm tour, first time visiting Patrick Ranch. What a gem of Butte County. Enjoyed all the stops that we had time for, found we spent more time there than we had planned because there was so much to do & see. Would definitely come back again & bring friends.

Very unprofessional. I went with my mother to the gift shop for Mother’s day just to take a look around. I can say the moment we walked in all the nasty old women that volunteer gave us disgusting looks with no greeting whatsoever. They then had the audacity to ask us what we were doing there when it was obviously still open and we were just trying to look around at the gift shop. What a joke. Get it together!

We just got married at Patrick’s Ranch the end of February. Everything was perfect, we got married inside Pat’s barn because we weren’t sure how the weather would be. There was an awesome room in the water tower for the bridal party to change and get ready, and we took all of our pictures on the porch of the beautiful house. The bathrooms were very nice with multiple stalls, there was a full kitchen for the caterer, and Karen was very sweet and easy to work with. I highly recommend Patrick Ranch for a wedding or special event.

Won’t ever go again. Here’s a tip. If you are going to have crafts for children, don’t get mad when they are making a beaded necklace and put too many beads. I watched the happiness drain from his face when you snapped at him.

We attended a wedding here in late March and it was very well done. Of course, some credit is due to the bride & groom for being organized and having great taste(wink) but the venue is gorgeous and the staff ran things smoothly. The ceremony took place on the steps on the ranch house — very simple, yet very pretty location. There’s a decently long pathway leading up to the main steps that served as an aisle, and smaller pathways leading in from the side for the groomsmen. The reception was held in the barn, with an extra tent attached to house the overflow of guests. The bars(plural!) were well managed as were the buffets(plural!). My only constructive criticism: the barn was got very, very COLD as the night went on — more space heaters, por favor! Also, the staff member who came around to tell tables it was their turn to hit the buffet gave the impression that she was more than a little put out that she was the one assigned to this task. It’s a wedding honey. Be pleasant.
