Second time I have taken one of our vehicles to Rick. This time for a check engine light his guys got me in and out and fixed the problem in the same afternoon. Last time it was a clutch a few years ago and they did a great job. Quick! Knowledgeable and understanding! I think I found our mechanic.

I’ve taken all my cars to Rick at Precision since I was 16 years old (I’ve been a customer for 15 years now). They’ve worked on all my vehicles from my first car, several in between and now my current Mini Cooper. I really appreciate that Rick has always been honest with me and my family, fixing what needs to be fixed quickly, effectively and priced fairly and letting us know when we don’t need anything done, saving us money where other mechanics might have gouged us for unnecessary work. Precision has only done basic maintenance on my Mini (oil changes and a brakes job) but I’ve been very happy with major work they’ve done on my other cars in the past.
Hopefully I won’t need repair work anytime soon (Knock on Wood), but if I do I’ll be taking my car to Precision!

I was new to Chico during the summer & my air conditioner completely stopped working… at first it wouldn’t get cold, then the fan stopped blowing air altogether in the front of the car, but the fan still worked in the rear vents. I came into the shop one evening very close to closing time, & the shop was able to determine that it was the resister. They offered to keep it overnight & have it ready for pick-​up the next morning, but I needed my car that night. they were very friendly and flexible, & they had me bring it in the next afternoon. It was in & out within two hours, and it has been a couple of months, & my air conditioner is working beautifully! Rick is very kind and helpful, & I think that their prices are very reasonable considering their work ethic and performance.
