Quackers Lounge

I had heard Quackers was sold to someone and they had remodeled so we checked it out. We went there on a Saturday night, which was not busy. They had 2 bartenders and 2 waitresses working. Our waitress started off good by taking our drink order and coming back to check on us, then she stopped. She was seen dancing behind the bar and talking to others which forced me go to up to the bar to order more drinks (what’s the point of having a waitress). At the bar I waited for a couple minutes before I was acknowledged and while I was waiting another waitress looked right at me (twice) from behind the bar then walked away without saying anything. The other bartender was nowhere to be found. I am a patient person but when there is only 4 people seated at the bar and half the tables are empty I thought the service good have been better. To top it off the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. I like the new remodel, but the service has gone down hill. If they could improve on customer service and turn the music down just a little I might go back. Until then I guess I’ll check out some other places.

I love this place so much. All the ladies are great bartenders and I have grown to know each of them. Chicken tacos with sliced Jalapeños are my go to lunch. Giselle does a great job managing. Cheers I will see you in a few hours :)

I always avoided this place and never really heard anything good about it. We moved into the neighborhood and decided to give this place a shot. It is much, much nicer than I had anticipated. The food is realllllyy good pub food, they have a ton of drink specials, and the staff is incredibly friendly. There are definitely some «good ol’ boys» that frequent the establishment but there is a good mix of people (young & old) that go there. This is now my new favorite local watering hole. A great place to watch the game that doesn’t break the budget. Get the pizza or the max & cheese! :)

Chill place. Depending on the night the crowd changes. Watching the bartender be more interested in a dude then customers is quite agro when our table was thirsty for drinks. I have been there when the place is empty and got no service .
Update. Service was waaaaay better this time around. Our server was really nice and came back to check on us every 10 mins.

This bar is perfect to get out of the college town atmosphere and enjoy your night with friends

Best place to dance when you don’t wanna deal with the riff raff downtown. Throwback music also! QUACK QUACK!

Great duck hunting themed local bar. Great place to stop in for a cheap drink off the Chico State Downtown Beaten path.

As a drinking establishment, this is a fine place to get your drink on with your friends. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The patrons range from college age students to leopard print cougars in search of young prey.
As of late November they serve food. I went for lunch and had a decent Philly cheese steak sandwich with a side of fries. The french fries were by far the best I’ve had in awhile. All this and two large flat screen TV’s for watching football. Its worth a return visit.

They are now serving great pub food with daily specials. .. Great BBQ and Gourmet burgers, they have the philly cheese steaks from the old Philadelphia Deli

Great atmosphere in this out-​of-​way bar… Free popcorn and huge cheap beer! What else could you ask for. I’m very partial to this place before going to Tinseltown with a little buzz on.

Cheap beer. Decent service. Plenty of parking. Just a cool little neighborhood dive bar. Boo for the popcorn machine being in the shop!
