I have previously raved about the excellent food/drinks and service at this quintessential little coffee shop, but after going in today and spending $ 4.75 on a medium iced coffee my opinion has changed. The service is still great, but for a tiny farm town in Missouri I can’t justify spending nearly $ 5.00 on a coffee. Especially if they literally have a sign joking that they’re nothing like Starbucks(which by the way, their same size coffee is $ 3.25).

Certainly the coolest people in a forty-mile radius, trying to do interesting, funky things with a wifi-enabled coffee spot in a dry patch of American flyover country. Interesting selection of books for sale and the Cure music memorabilia scored points with this child of the 80s. Glad they are here and glad we stopped by. The eggs certainly got a high rating from my knowledgeable dining companion and my chicken salad was solidly good. The café latte, sadly, left something to be desired. The chairs and décor of the space certainly represent a best effort but aren’t entirely pleasing to the butt of the sitter or to the eye of the beholder. The people couldn’t be nicer.

Excellent café for lunch, coffee and desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed the special(maple marmalade biscuit sandwich) and the cinnamon roll! A must for anyone looking for a place to stop in Chilicothe, MO.

Boji is worth the time to leave the highway and come into Chillicothe. My husband and I were driving on Highway 36 instead of I 70 on our way to Illinois. I like to support local businesses, love coffee and found great reviews of Boji. Unilocalers didn’t fail me. I asked if they were able to do a red eye — drip with a shot of espresso — the counter person(extremely nice) said sure and help yourself to the drip while I get the shots. The regular coffee was their robust drip and smelled divine. The coffees were ready in short order and we were on our way out. I kick myself for not buying a logo t shirt! But I’m sure this won’t be the last time I stop by for coffee.

This place is excellent! I went with 5 other people from my family and everyone enjoyed their food. The waitress was friendly, the grilled pepper jack cheese sandwich was life changing, and the smoothies were to die for. If your in town, you must go to Boji!!!

This place has been my favorite since it opened here in Chillicothe. The staff is always friendly and great customer service. Great selections of food and unique drinks. Food is fresh and a lot is homemade! A little pricey but well worth it!!! Great place to just hang out and eat!!!

Love the food and coffee here. Never had the breakfast, but I would be able to go here more often if they were open for dinner, as I travel through for work often. Most days they close by 5. Caesar pasta salad is a go to for lunch or a side, the croutons are amazing! All the food is fresh and soups vary from day to day. The buffalo chicken options are always good — wraps or sandwich. You can get a discount on your coffee if you bring your own mug too.

Just tried breakfast at Boji Stone for the first time. Delish! Had the kitchen sink casserole, fresh fruit and a raspberry truffle coffee. Everything was really good including the service.

NYC native staying in town for a week for work, and I have to admit I was a touch concerned on where I might find a good coffee — so I was PUMPED to find this place. Big, lots of seating, very nice staff. I had a caramel chocolate coffee(which was a tweaked version of their«Chocolate Caramel Nut» since hazelnut isn’t my favorite in coffee) and it was yummy! Very sweet, but that’s how I prefer my coffee. They seem to be very willing to adjust their drinks to suit your tastes(they have tons of syrups to play with), very good prices, good coffee! I will be back. Probably tomorrow :) (I didn’t try their food but it looked simple and good!)

I travel for work and try to find fun places along the way. This is definitely one of them. Clean with good selection of food. I had a substitution request and it was no big deal. I didn’t try the coffee but they have a nice selection of drinks and homemade ice cream.

This place is great. I had the chicken salad sandwich which had so much«salad» you could have made 2 sandwiches! It was sweet but not too sweet. My husband got some kind of melt with pasta salad instead of chips. Once again a nice portion size. We finished with a triple chocolate cheesecake that as my 3 year said was giant and it was! Also very yummy!

Yum. This is the only place I know of in Chillicothe where you can get a strong iced coffee or espresso drink along with excellent homemade food and a great book. I had a spinach salad with feta and bacon and a penne dish with light homemade parmesan sauce. I was braced for a gloop sauce, but I got delicate garlic asiago and herbs on my pasta, and had to hold back from devouring all of it instead of employing my usual take-half-home-to-stay-slim-and-economical technique. My father, who recently had oral surgery, had broccoli, rice, and cheddar soup, which we passed around until we had to order him another bowl. We were disappointed with the accompanying breadsticks, which seemed obviously recently thawed as opposed to fresh. My younger sister had spinach quiche, which she thought was undercooked but flavorful, while my youngest sister was disappointed that her ham wrap was not heated. She’s almost always disappointed, though, and I’m sure that, considering the amazing service we received, that the chefs would have bent over backward to accommodate ANY of her wishes — any of ours, whatsoever they may be. that’s just the quality of the people here. The servers even dug out ibuprofen for my sister, who felt a migraine coming on. The bookstore had Gordon Ramsey’s newest cookbook and some other cool stuff — volumes I would read, and I’m a hipster snob. you would never expect to find homemade food like this in such a small, rural, and frankly obese town. I don’t know how it stays in business, but I implore you — if you’re passing through and looking for the place that isn’t applebees, ISN’T IHOP, but is a local and delish place to sit, read, enjoy coffee and first-class food, go to boji stone. or get boji stoned, as they say.

$ 49 including tax & tip fed 2 adults, 211 year-old girls, and a 7 yr old girl. My taco salad lacked spices, but was made from reasonably good ingredients. Everyone else had some form of chicken wrap, and all were pleased with them. The wraps were too big for the girls to finish. Mom found hers to be a good portion size. My blueberry smoothie was o.k., but I think my sweet tooth was wanting something more like a blueberry milk shake. My smoothie had a lot of flavorless ice left at the bottom of the cup. Boji Stone seems to have enough coffee /espresso-type equipment to make anything you would want. They look serious about their coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker, so you’ll have to try it out for yourselves. The service was excellent.(friendly!) Food arrived in under 10 min. The décor is interesting for kids and adults: part bookstore, part southern Americana, and part rock concert ticket stub exhibit. There’s ample parking in the back. That backside parking lot might look a little dodgy, but don’t worry, the police station is back there, and the local bank has security cameras all over the place. This is one of those places that you visit and you can’t help but root for them. Here’s to the continued success of the Boji Stone Café.

We were introduced to the Boji Stone Café 2 years ago after the Chillicothe Holiday Parade… and now its a tradition to get something warm after ringing in the start of the holiday season. I loved their bacon spinach salad and their coffee is very tasty. I love to read so seeing the different books while sipping your coffee always puts you in a relaxed mood. Can’t wait to visit again the next time I’m in town!
