This review is in response to Three Sisters Park Halloween festivities. I had organized a group of 25 women to come for my sorority. The contact person in the office was generous with the discount of $ 1 off the original price of $ 10. This year, 2015, Three Sisters Park had three different attractions: The Trail of Terror, The Haunted Mansion, and the Haunted Hayride. The prices for these are $ 10, $ 10, and $ 15 respectively. There is also a coupon on their website that allows a discount if you go on all 3 rides. We had to do the Haunted Mansion instead of the Trail of Terror because the weather had been bad and the trail was muddy. The line to wait was approximately 45 minutes. Considering it was a Friday Night a week before Halloween, I don’t believe that this was a bad waiting time. Upon entering, different masked people would come up and try to scare multiple patrons standing in line. For the Haunted Mansion, they allow groups of 8 – 10 to enter at a time. A group of us linked arms and plunged in. The overall journey took about 20 minutes, but it felt much longer because of all the different«rooms» we were exposed to. I would not recommend this to children who are remotely scared of anything Halloween-y. They will get scared very easily as there are people who follow you and jump out at you. Instead of going on any of the attractions, there are more kid-friendly activities in the barn such as face painting and different games to play. The overall experience was a satisfying thrill. Three Sisters Park is a great alternative to a sedentary slasher at home on the couch.

My review won’t be seen or even matter because I’m not a «verified» Unilocal user or whatever but this needs to be heard even if by few. I was harassed verbally and threatened by volunteers at the 2014 Spider Hill event. Chris Cassidy, the general manager, seemed to not take me seriously whatsoever because I am a 19 year old female and was not from the tiny hick town of Chillicothe. We are taking legal action against the park and my partner who witnessed the events and was a patron of Three Sisters for years will never be returning. Thank you for reading this whoever does.

I have come to this national park for the music festival«Summer Camp» Out of every music festival I have been to, this is a personal favorite. The park here is close-by to a Kroger’s supermarket for any essentials that one might need. There’s plenty of shaded areas to camp and tons of room to walk around. Summer Camp here is great. There are primary stages scattered throughout the whole camping space and pop up shows featuring premier music groups in campsites at night! Never seems to get too hot as it’s scheduled early in the year(Memorial Day weekend).
