One of the things I really enjoy while out of town on business is checking out out local parks to see how the locals live and allow myself some time to decompress and reflect. Yocatangee Park was a good place for this. Just off the main drag downtown, there are a significant number of baseball fields which were being used by youths practicing. Green space and trees are plentiful… lots of covered areas with picnic tables, areas to walk, a beautiful bridge and river/stream also cut thru the park. It didn’t hurt that the temperature was 70 yesterday either. Grass not turning fully green yet and no leaves on the trees but significant shade will be available soon! This seems like a nice place that if I lived in the area would frequently for family time, walks, and so on.
