I’ll vote with the other reviewers — five stars! Really friendly people, and a commitment to locally sourced, sustainable food at fair prices. Although I’ve moved from the area, I still proudly wear my favorite garment, a Farm Stand sweatshirt. The produce is terrific, and the selection of bulk foods is solid and fresh. Sundays during the season, the Chimacum farmers’ market is right out the door. The place is bicycle friendly, and there’s room to sit and enjoy some of the delicious baked goods or local ice cream and a cup of coffee. Oh dear God, now I’m missing the old neighborhood again. I’ve got to get out of California and back to the Quimper Peninsula. That this place even exists at this rural crossroads speaks volumes about the community. The staff gets it, and as the Farm Stand chick says, it’s all about«Food From Here.»

Great little place to find plenty of local and organic produce. I do love coming here whether I buy something or not. You can find many artisan beers and wines from local companies as well. I have found organic chicken livers and hearts here as well which are quite hard to find in this part of the country. I use them to make peri-peri chicken livers which is probably one of my top favorite dishes. I hungry just thinking about them, but never mind that right now haha. You can get tons of fresh produce here from local farms as well as local grown beef. I do love the variety of Kombucha’s they have here. If you don’t know what that is you better look it up but its an acquired taste but something I quite enjoy as well. Cant seem to find it in Scotland but oh well. There is ice cream you can get here on a hot day as well as yummy brownies and other goodies that are locally baked. The tiramisu here is to die for seriously folks its amazing. The staff are always friendly and nice here as well. The only thing about this place that I don’t care for is the prices. Very expensive but I suppose its due to most of it being organic and from local sources and needs to be expensive to compete with places like Safeway. But I am willing to spend here so its all good I suppose. Do come here though and check the place out and get some goodies, you won’t be disappointed !

Such nice people ! Great food… This is a treasure hidden that everyone should know about. One time our car battery died here and the people all helped get our car back to working.(thank you chevron workers across the street). Anyhoo I wish every town could have a place like this. But for now I just make visits when I go home to see my parents & that works out for me :)

We stopped in when we were passing by and saw a sign for fresh local raspberries. I was blown away by the amazing range of healthy food and groceries here. Great prices too, considering so much of it is organic and high-end. This is the kind of business that is a destination in its own right. It should be in the guidebooks! Excellent gluten-free options in the homemade baked goods section. Delicious!

The Chimacum Corner Farmstand is a real gem of a store for the Tri-Area community. I grew up in the area and I actually know some of the purveyors of the store so I feel loyalty to them. They carry a well selected variety of wonderful local products including Finnriver cider and brandy and Shorts Family Farms beef, and Mt, Townsend Creamery cheeses to name a few. Being a farm stand, they carry fresh fruits and vegetables along with a variety of nonperishable items and dried goods. The store is small but they have a small eating area and they serve coffee and baked goods and soups. You could have a light lunch here and be completely satisfied. You can’t do all your shopping here but you can certainly do some of it. Some of the prices are a bit high as you would imagine but a lot of them are actually quite reasonable. I would recommend the store to anyone in the area passing through!

Wonderful shop that stocks organic produce, locally produced food, crafts and wines. Best part? They don’t over charge. Absolutely worth a stop if you are on your way to Port Townsend. Ice cream for the kid, organic dates for the wife, a bottle of wine for dad, everyones happy. I liked the place so much I bought their tee shirt.(The tee shirt was printed on organic cotton at a fair trade shop. Nice!)

An organic market committed to local foods that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for everything? Here it is. The staff is friendly, and the place is charming as hell. If you’re anywhere in the Port Townsend area and need to stock up on some good food this is the place to go. Even worth going out of your way for, especially when local produce is in season.

Of all the places! I was heading up to Pt. Townsend to decompress a bit and I stopped here for some snacks. Got a pint of organic blueberries, some organic filberts, salt n pepper cashews that are DELICIOUS(also organic), Organic banana chips, a ginger chew, and some coconut date chews ALL for UNDER nine dollars($ 9) What a great corner store. You must stop in and support this excellent business! Cheers to good health!

My brother and I topped by the Chimacum Corner Farmstand while on a drive from Seattle to Folks, WA in Feb 2011. It is a great pit stop between Kingston and Port Townsend but instead of the usual gas station junk, you get all natural, local treats. The building is brightly-colored and has a giant picture of chickens, so you can’t miss it. These people are all about local food, but they still have a great selection from ice cream to fresh meat and cheese. The first time around we just got some muffins and coffee; on the way home we grabbed some grass-fed beef and fresh veggies.

Local, Organic, Sustanible. This charming little grocery makes supporting your community and planet such a pleasure! Whether you are looking for fresh, local meat and vegetables for tonight’s dinner, piecing together a picnic or stuffing a gift basket with your choice of the penninsula’s honeys, perserves and cheeses it’s all here(even the gift baskets!). Don’t miss carrying the wonderful heavy cotton ‘Chimicum Corner’ shopping bags with pride! I love this place!
