We stopped into Tia B’s to get lunch in between paddle boarding and hiking. The staff and atmosphere were exceptionally pleasant.
The fresh, homemade salsas are amazing and the owners are quick to let you know the best hiking spots in the area.

They are closed and there is a for sale sign on the door. I was told the owner is going to try selling their food as a vendor out of a truck, rather than as a physical restaurant. There is already negotiations for a sandwich shop to move into the space.

I can understand why this place is up for rent. We had super slow service. I’ve had better cheese dip from the store. The huevos rancheros had very little flavor. Thankful for the hot sauce they bring out.

Very fresh food — delicious and more authentic than most places. Uses queso fresco, fresh tortillas and the type of crema you would find in Latin America. Great service and you can sit on the river while you eat. Awesome place after 4 hours of hiking at Chimney Rock!

Had no problems with the service or cleanliness what-​so-​ever. The food was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The only reason I don’t post a 5-​star review is because the serving size was a little small and the food selection was a little small. But other than that it’s a must eat if you’re looking for a good lunch-​portion-​sized Mexican meal.

This place was just weird to us. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting and the waitress was so nice but when my husband went to order they couldn’t make the chicken without red or green sauce like he wanted. It was just a strange situation. They don’t have liquor either and the beer selection is very limited.

Delicious meal! We dined here in the fall after a great hike around Chimney Rock. There was only one other family in the restaurant so we were a little leary. But after having a small bite to eat– nachos in fact, we were happy we stopped in. Service was great and flavors were all so fresh!

Dined here tonight for the first time while visiting the area. The food was amazing! My husband had the burrito and I had the chicken enchiladas. The menu is small but so well done! The staff was super friendly and attentive. They even brought us a complimentary dessert to us after we finished our entrees (which was also delicious!) They also have a beautiful river deck to eat on also but it was just too cold for us that day. We plan on coming back in the summer when warmer to enjoy the view and food again. If you are looking for the best Mexican food in Chimney Rock you need to come here!

Fantastic restaurant, fresh ingredients, limited selection but everything was delicious. Try the green chicken… and their home made spices and sauces are incredible. The owner was very friendly and even made a special dish for our daughters unique appetite. Wonderful scenery from the deck overlooking the river. We didn’t want to leave. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. Will definitely be going back next time we are in the area.

Stumbled upon this little gem while visiting the area. Very friendly service, literally on the river with an amazing atmosphere and very fresh «clean» Mexican. The tomato salsa could have had more kick but nothing a little chalula couldn’t fix. The tomatillo salsa was on point. Can’t wait to go back!

Very clean place, beautiful deck, and taco salads, tortilla soup, huevos rancheros and chicken enchiladas were all reported delicious. Portions are good size and not overwhelming. Sangria was good too. Overall pleasant experience, will be coming back!
