We had a fine experience with Damner Cust. Shutters. We got a promotion in the mail/newspaper advertising 25% off entire order. I knew from previous ads that they had 0% interest on a wellsfargo CRD card for those that qualify to make the purchase a lot less painful. So I asked my wife if she wanted shutters in the house, she did and we scheduled an app’t with Damner. From our initial appointment we were very impressed. I scheduled an appointment according to my schedule. Damner had a few opening so they put me in the book. Called the day before to remind me of appointment, very appreciative. The day of we got a phone call 1 minute before our appointment time that they were outside waiting for us from customer service, so no surprises. My wife really liked that part. From the beginning the entire staff was very cordial, polite and pleasant, funny too. After an hour long session of doing a rough measure of all our windows, the sales team drew up paperwork to show us what it would cost before and after the discount. I then asked them about the 0% promotion they offered and was told to goto the Wellsfargofinancial website and apply for the card. I did that while sales team was still at our house, gave them the confirmation of our new credit card and they started the process with my approval. You don’t have to do anything on the spot like I did. The sales team said they keep your measurements and quote on file for 6 mos so there was absolutely no pressure no strong arming and no sleazy sales tactics, and most of all no rush. just professional from the beginning. We were instructed by sales team that we would be contacted shortly by the measurer to come out one more time for a final and accurate measure for the factory. We were called just a few days later, set up appointment and the customer service team again called us to let us know our installer was outside and would be ready when we were– right on time. Steve was our measurer and installer, very professional, courteous and mindful that he is in someone’s home, not just walking thru a store to do a job. He asked if it was alright to go upstairs and I told him I’d check with wife who said she was dressed and ready. Again no surprises or bad tactics. Steve was very fast, clean and courteous. Because it was late November, due to the holidays he said the earliest they could do the install was 1st week in January 2015. I said no problem since we already had window coverings. I had to reschedule our January appointment once we got close due to work. About a week later from original appointment they showed up in the morning right on time. Steve was also our installer. He showed up with a install tech names Dave. They asked me if I had a preference in the order of installing blinds. Since we have little kids, I had them do the kids room first, followed by Mst Bath so we had privacy using the loo. After that it was done systematically room by room. Both Dave and Steve did an outstanding job. They were very clean with respect to their work, tools, and appearance. Nothing was ever scratched damaged or broken. Following the install, I got a phone call about a day later from Brian the Design Team Manager. He wanted to know how it went, how his team did and if we were satisfied with our purchase and experience. I told him very much so but they forgot to give us a wand for one of our tall blinds. He said no problem and within a few days the wand appeared via UPS to our front door. This was a very pricey option for our home. I’m very glad we did it, made our home look spectacular, and is already keeping us cooler(very hot in Riverside). Financially I am able to pay it off in 1 year on the Wells Fargo card, that also attracted me. The product is better than advertised and comes with an awesome warranty.
