So i went here to buy some sleeves i needed and they were priced at 12.95. I usually pay 1.25−2.00 and that was the worst price i have ever seen. Would not go here ever again!

I’ve been coming to this shop for a couple of months now since moving to Chino Hills, and I’m so glad I found it! Great selection of animé rentals and always something going on with a friendly environment of game enthusiasts that made me feel welcome immediately. On my first visit I’d only been there a couple of minutes and pretty soon there was a lively discussion on Animé, games, and comic books going. I joined one of their weekly games and now it’s the highlight of my week! When it comes to CCGs, board games, war games, role-playing games, animé, manga, etc. you’re not going to find friendlier, more knowledgeable people anywhere else in the area. Not just a shop, but a fun hangout spot; it’s always fun to see what they’re up to. Unlike most shops they are open mostly in the evenings and at night so very convenient for the working man.

I was looking all over town trying to find an animé store that my daughter could find Hetalia merchandise. She was able to find a Hetalia banner that none of the other stores we’ve gone to have. Edward who I think owned the store was really helpful and even gave other referrals on other stores that we could go to. He was also really nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall a great store to find Japanese manga items and then some.

I have been visiting this store every so often ever since they were located in Walnut, CA. The owners/staff are very knowledgeable about the games they sell and were even willing to teach new games I’ve never even heard about. One of the guys that works there, Alex, is very helpful with other hobbies as well and is willing to chat about anything just to keep the friendly environment going. When I got into Warhammer 40K he taught me how to paint awesome looking models for free. No class or teaching fees or anything like that, he just did it because he said he likes seeing cool Warhammer models and wanted mine to look cool too. He even sold me the models at 20% off the retail price but I’m pretty sure that’s a store special. From what I understand they have Dungeons and Dragons on Wednesday nights, Friday Night Magic on Fridays, and Yugioh tournaments on Sundays. Every other day that they’re open the guys working or the crowd that’s there are usually up for anything else like practicing for Friday Night Magic or helping with deck building. Overall, great place to hang out, friendly staff, quiet plaza.

Came here last weekend to play in a magic tournament. The store is located in the corner of a large plaza. I didn’t get to check out any of the other stores, but there was a mcdonalds, some grocery mart, a small gym, and some other random places I didn’t bother to take note of. The store is sort of a long narrow strip. It’s split into two halves: one side has a bunch of shelves full of animé DVDs that you can presumably buy or rent(not sure), the other side has a couple of tables lined up all the way down the store. The place is very very cramped, and it’s pretty difficult to get in and out of the inner side of the tables. Your back is against the wall, and there’s only one way out… through a bunch of people. They do sell some magic product, but they don’t sell singles, and they have a limited selection of everything else. The crowd seemed to be friendly enough. There were probably 2 dozen people when I arrived. About half of them were playing random games(settlers of catan /yugioh), and the rest were playing magic, primarily standard. Verdict: A nice little shop if you’re local. If you’re making a trip, there are a lot of other stores in the same mile radius. To the owners: The layout of the place is pretty claustrophobic, especially with the entire back area being just boxes. You may also want to consider moving everything around. The way your products are lined up now, it’s very easy for someone to steal your products off the wall.
