I have always admired his lovely jewelry and finally purchased a piece a few weeks ago and could not be happier it is so beautiful and I receive so my compliments. Masashi is so very nice and humble I cannot wait to buy another piece!

I love Mashahi’s work. I have 5 of his pendants, and want more. I saw him first at the San Jose Convention Center, and I would love more pieces, but I’ve moved out of state. People always comment on his work whenever I wear his necklace, as they are so beautiful and unusual.

Masashi San is truly a master craftsman and artist. We went to the Henderson NV art festival on Mothers’ Day 2013 and when my wife’s eye caught a glimpse of a framed painting on Utah onyx, I knew what my special gift to her was going to be. Bought it and no regrets. P.W.S.

One of the most common categories you will find at any arts and crafts fair is jewelry. While they are all unique with their own quality and beauty, «Masashi’s Art» really attracted my attention more than most. The Sacramento Arts Festival is where we discovered artist Masashi Shito. He works with semi-precious stones and turns them into pendant masterpieces! After shaping and polishing a stone, he then hand paints a scene or design on it’s surface with Japanese watercolor and 18k gold. When the art work is complete, he uses a protective varnish to protect the colors. My boyfriend and I couldn’t help but spend a lengthy amount of time at his booth(along with other admirers). Each pendant was gorgeous, making it very difficult to make a single choice. My main focus was to find a special piece for a close friend who has gone through difficult health related issues. She and I have been friends since childhood and we have this little joke between us where we always tell each other«I love you man»! My boyfriend jokingly asked Mr. Shito if he had any pendants that said«I love you man»! He immediately said yes, and pointed to a stone with Japanese symbols on it. We laughed knowing that he didn’t speak English that well and probably didn’t quite understand what we meant. I suspect the pendant says«I love you», but it is close enough. So I ended up making the purchase. Now I can’t wait to send it to my girlfriend! I also wanted to buy something for myself, but the choices were so hard to make a decision on, that I wanted to think about it for a while at the festival and return later. I could kick myself when the day soon ended and we were too tired to browse anymore. If only I had bought something right when I had the chance! He doesn’t have a web site, so my only hope is that he will be at The Sacramento Arts Festival next year. I’ll be making a bee line to his booth to get first choice! (Debbie Z. «I love you man»!)
