Nirvana Threading

I have been here a few times in the past and went last weekend to get a quick fix on my brows. All I can say is, there’s a reason why I never made this my regular threading place. When I went last weekend my brows only needed to be a cleaned up (not reshaped) & instead were made super thin and not even even. I couldn’t even get mad because what’s the point? So now I have to let my brows grow out… but I’ll be sure to never come back to Nirvana. Getting my brows done for cheap means nothing if they do a terrible job every time I go. Take this as a PSA for anyone who loves their brows: don’t go here.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
Just like everyone else has said, they will butcher your brows.
It’s been months and I’m still in the process of letting my left brow grow out.

Horrible service, overpriced, and unprofessional. I’ve seen business’ come and go and I know this place will not last.

Will not be coming back here ever again. I agree with basically everyone else about the butchering of your eyebrows. Mine are pretty full & you can easily do a simple clean up on them. The first few times were good but then the girls who were there my first few times were now gone. What’s left is a very rude woman who basically has no idea how to thread. One time she basically scratched my eye with her nail. I instantly started to cry & she thought it was because of the threading. Uh no, I’ve fallen asleep in the chair before because I’ve gotten so used to the pain. I told her & she laughed. She’s just not a friendly person. I’ve gone back to Zia Threading & will never go back to this place.

Absolutely awful!!! I indicated that I wanted a «clean-​up» and got laser thin eyebrows. No apology whatsoever. Never again.

Went there Sunday ⁷⁄₁₉ for henna tattoo. Showed my picture of snowflake to the girl and also the size and location I want it to be. It came out nothing like what was discussed. It was 8 times bigger and also included stuff I specifically said I don’t want. The worst part is, it took less than 5 minutes and looks like a kid’s drawing! For real. I don’t think the artwork in their book will come out anywhere close to what you expected. I left before it dried up (the girl was talking on her personal phone after she was done doodling and did not pay any attention to my status) I couldn’t wait and started to take it off once I stepped out of the store. Will NOT ever set my foot in this store again.

This freaking lady butchered my eyebrows, make one pencil thin and the other way thicker and has the audacity to tell me that she just cleaned up the shape, BULL F-​ing SH! T!!! She left me looking like a freak!!! I was so pissed and shocked I stormed out of there!!! Do not go to this place!!! It’s too late for me but SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

Says they open at 11 on Sunday’s on their website and the girl didn’t come strolling in until 10 minutes after. Not only was she taking her sweet ass time talking on her phone but she told us Sumi was going to be here today and she wasn’t. So disappointed with this place because my sisters and I had been wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt and they let us down everytime. Manisha doesn’t work here anymore and Almas works at ZIA… if they let Sumi go next then I will no longer be returning.

Only come here if you want your thick eyebrows to be cut off and become super thin!!! Grew them out for a month, went in for just a clean up, and BAM they were all cut off.
I used to love coming here but I will have to find a new eyebrow place in the city.
The only plus is that it is a beautiful and clean place.

I had the worst henna experience here. I had already been waiting because there were customers waiting before me, which I understood the wait time, because only one person was working. My cousin got her henna done before me and a few more customers came in while she was having her henna done. Next, it was my turn and I show her the picture (from their own book on hennas) of the design I wanted. She completely rushed through it, it took her 5 minutes for a $ 30 arm/​hand piece that should’ve taken at least 15 minutes. It looks nothing like the design that was pictured. I am absolutely dissatisfied with my service. First time there and I will never set my foot into the facility again. I did not expect to pay $ 30 for a «professional» to distort a design they have in their work portfolio, when I could make a better one myself.

I honestly loved this place with my usual. Person. Today I went in but she wasn’t there so I decided to try it out anyways. I went for a clean up on my eyebrows and thread on my lip. I got sumcet. She changed my shape which I’m really upset. Because I loved it how it was before. And I got small cuts on my lip from the thread. I learned my lesson, not going to anyone else than my lady I go to.

I’ve never been so unhappy with my an eyebrow place until I came here. I’m not picky, I usually just walk in for a clean up. I’ve been here around 3 times only because conveniently by my work.
This lady completely took off half of my eyebrow. They are now uneven, thin and just completed crooked. I had been growing them out for about a month now and for them to come out they way they did is just upsetting. & to top it off, I’m celebrating my 21^st birthday this weekend. Never will I ever return here.
I’m sorry for writing such a horrible review but when this ruined my entire birthday weekend. I really should have read the reviews before coming here.

The staff straight up lied here. ALMA DID NOT GO BACK TO HER HOME COUNTRY.
She is now at ZIA THREADING IN CHINO HILLS. Everyone who loves her work needs to go there instead! She does an amazing job!

I like these ladies that work here but I know I can go to a place that does threading at a cheaper price than $ 9. They listen to how I want my eyebrows done, and my husband ALWAYS compliments me after I get them done. His compliments are the reason why I go back!
They really do a clean job, I don’t go for other services other than my eyebrows. They do clean the hairs abover my eyebrows as well. Ewwww, I know I have a hairy forehead!

Went with a friend to get eyebrows threaded. The lady did a good job but wouldn’t honor the Unilocal discount for $ 3 off because «it expired.»
Aside from that she did a good job. I won’t be coming back because their services are overpriced and the workers are not that friendly.

I just left this place 5 minutes ago & I’m so upset with how my eyebrows look. The lady literally took a chunk of my eyebrows!!! & I know threading can be painful, but she was not gentle at all! I have over 3 cuts on my eyelids. NEVER GO HERE!!! GO TO ZIA THREADING!

I wanted to like this place b/​c it is just down the street from me but after my second visit I’m done. Some of the girls there seem to know what they’re doing but the two times i went, the girls that worked on me seemed inexperienced. This second time, she gave me «burns» or «cuts». I don’t know the technical term but what I do know is now i have angry little scabs on my eyebrows. This didn’t happen the first time i went there so i know it shouldn’t have happened at all. I gave it 2 stars b/​c i actually had a very nice experience the first time i came in. I cant remember who worked on me but she had good customer service skills & made me feel taken care of.

First of all, alma was the reason I started coming here. However, I’ve used other employees and they’ve done ok. However, recently I’ve noticed their attitude combined with lack of experience has been taking a turn for the worse, ever since Alma has left.
Additionally, I purchased a groupon for eyebrow threading. 3 sessions of eyebrow threading for $ 15 — a pretty good deal. I came in and got my eyebrows threaded and showed the employee. She was confused and it took her a while to even figure out what I was talking about. She finally agrees to use it and then redeems it with a scanner on her phone. I am done and happily on my way out. However, that night, I notice that the Groupon is showing up as redeemed after I have only used it once. Meaning I just lost out on two other eyebrow threading sessions! I called the number listed several times on several days and it took me about a week for somebody to pick up. They listened to my situtation, took my name and phone number and said theyd fix things.. .. A week later, I still haven’t heard.

Brought my tween here to get threaded for the first time. She was scared shitless, mostly due to the unknown. Our lady was so warm and friendly, it totally made her less antsy about the whole thing. They did a fantastic job although missed a few spots.
