The chicken is absolutely delicious and the owners are awesome! We go there regularly, and went tonight not realizing they closed at 6 on Sundays. They actually opened the doors and gave us food anyways! Who does that? San Juan Pollo Rotisserie does! Please support this local favorite place! The owners will greet you with a smile and the food is the best!

Kinda like Juan Pollo but it’s not. It’s good. Like really good. It’s a small corner place. Nothing fancy. I got my order to go so I can’t really comment too much on the place. It was decent. The place seems family owned. They were helpful and friendly. I ordered the #4 jumbo pack 3 whole chickens, tortilla, Xlarge sides of beans, rice and potato salad. All amazing. The chicken was moist, flavorful, falloff the bone. The rice was soft and perfect. The potato salad was amazing. I like my food spicy so I mixed their hot sauce with it. And lastly, the beans were beans. Can you really mess beans up? Long story short. I’ll be returning.

Great place to eat. Love mom and pop shops and this one doesn’t disappoint. Try the chamanga. Awesomeness in a clear plastic cup!

Forget the other Mexican rotisserie shops — San Juan Rotisserie is the only Juan for me. This place is family owned, and they always greet you with a smile. My go-to here is the dinner special which comes out to a little over $ 8. It’s more than enough food to stuff your face, and the chicken is super flavorful. The sides of rice, beans, and potato salad are all great and I love that the tortillas come piping hot in a sealed plastic bag. They also give you a small side of pico de gallo and hot salsa as well. My only gripe is that the chicken can be a bit dry sometimes, but regardless, I’ve never had a bad meal here. Whether you’re getting a meal for one or feeding an entire family, this place gives you major bang for your buck.

MURDERSJUANPOLLO! Authentic delicious and well portioned. If you like Juan pollo then you’ll LOVE Elizabeth’s home cooked meals. They have fresh fruit and bionicos cut and prepped to your liking, I have worked in chino hills for over a year and still haven’t found a better authentic Mexican food place like this!!!

So glad I decided to try this place. Had to have a chamango(so fresh & delicious) and treated the family to the family deal. Way too much food, but so so good. Loved the potato salad too. I’ll definitely be back.

Been going to this place for awhile so I may be biased in my review but, this place is awesome. For quick, reasonably priced, great tasting fresh food, look no further. A Ma’ and Pa’ cozy little rotisserie with warm hearts and great food. Always greeted with a warm smile and hearty ‘good *, how are you today?’ or the like. An efficient menu scales the prep area, making an order quick and simple instead of rocket science. It is clean and tidy, with ample room for waiting customers and dining ones. To put it simply: the food is great; people are warm; price is reasonable; inviting, friendly atmosphere. If you’re looking for a fine-dining experience rivaling Michellin-clad restaurants, look elsewhere; if you’re on the run needing a quick fix, definitely stop by here. I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu and will vouch for all of it. Favorites being the Chicken Bowl combo and the 1lb Burrito. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Service was good, food not so much. The chicken was dry and when reheated it was just… not good. The closet thing I can compare to is grocery/Costco bought rotisserie chickens but more expensive. Wanted to try their fruit selection, but they didn’t have any due to out of season. Will not return, kinda disappointed. I will stick to el pollo loco.

Wanted to try something tasty and casual while attending a baseball tournament close by and this was a great find, thanks to the Unilocal review I found. The place is family owned, with daughter and mother working the day we went — very friendly and great good! I knew we were in for a treat when we walked in and saw racks of whole chickens turning on the rotisserie. All the food was fresh, serving sizes were good and there were many condiments to make the flavorful chicken even more interesting. Try the hot sauce they provide, if you’re up for something really spicy!

My boyfriend and I came across San Juan Pollo Rotisserie on Unilocal and boy are we glad we did! As soon as we entered we were greeted by the owner. She was very friendly and attended us right away. We love fruit and so had to order their bionico and a mangoñada to share. We have had many mangoñadas before and this one was by far out favorite! The owner makes the toppings in house and they are killer. The bionico was overflowing with ripe fruit and was delicious to the very last bite. We also ordered the chicken lunch special or #6. Their chicken was very moist and delicious! If you enjoy a nice spicey sauce try their habañero, it was awesome. Their beans, rice, & potato salad were perfect! We cannot wait to be back and enjoy the authentic Mexican food San Juan offers. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

One of the best chicken Salads I’ve tried. The salsa here is so delicious and spicy one of my favorites.

Tried it. To be honest, the skin was immensely good flavored, but the dark meat falling off the bone was a sure sign it was way overcooked. This is not a good thing for chicken. My 3 star rating is more about my immense dislike of dry chicken breast. This happens predictably because the entire chicken continues to cook after removal from the rotisserie and the fear of god instilled for strict adherence to food safety regarding eating raw chicken. I shall now get on my soap box. The best solution is just that, a brine solution. This allows even chicken breast to survive higher temperatures and remain moist. And also, why do they have to continue to keep it warm? A quick warm up just before serving would make me happy. The very kind owner did generously replace it, but how do you undo the damage to my first impression? I guess I will always be that person that must have the piece that just came off the skewer. I will also be that same person who tears the breast piece quickly into smaller pieces to let the steam out. I don’t consider myself picky, just… well…picky. Wish they had been more conscientious about not overcooking, and even more conscientious about not serving it. I can tell just by looking, so why can’t they?

The lunch special is half a(small) chicken. Thigh and breast, some rice, beans, salsa and tortillas(corn or flour) for $ 6.99. As others have said the chicken is tender especially the dark meat. I would’ve enjoyed more salsa for the white meat as it was a little drier in comparison to the juicy thigh. The chicken was nicely seasoned… salty, but just right! Most people do takeout I think but there is seating for about 12 – 14 people including a larger table. I sat and watched daytime TV. The folks who run this place are friendly and appreciative of their customers. My Unilocal check-in got the lunch special for $ 1off.

I was craving rotisserie chicken and did not want to go to Juan pollo. so I looked it up on Unilocal and decided to go from Ontario to Chino Hills to check out this establishment and I must say it was well worth it. chicken was amazing juicy and not dried out like many other places rice beans and salsa were great as well. I also arrived 10 to 15 minutes after they closed and they still took care of me with out an issue or complaint. I would recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon!
