this location unlike the others that are always pack, is usually empty! maybe that’s why they don’t hire enough employees… last time there were only two people, and last time, there was only one person that needed to take orders, prepare orders, and call out orders! still a good nitrogen ice cream spot, remember to check in via Unilocal to get $ 1 off!

Exactly like Creamistry. It’s a bit pricey for the size. Actually, VERY pricey for the size. The single scoop small size was smaller than the size of my fist. I got the non-fat yogurt base with cookie butter flavor and cinnamon toast crunch and banana topping. I asked for the cinnamon toast crunch to be mixed in but most of it was at the bottom and it wasn’t crushed in. If that was the case, I might as well went across the street for cookie butter ice cream and cinnamon toast crunch toppings at afters. However, they did give me a free ice cream card for the wait for my mom’s taro flavor with coconut base ice cream. The taro was a bit chalky, it tasted like chunks of taro in there. or maybe it was just chalky.

Nothing else to say… Unless you are bad at choosing flavor combinations this place is really good! Definetly give this a try… I personally think this place is better than creamistry despite similar concepts and ideas

On a whim, my kid and I decided on some super bad for you dessert at Scoops. We were familiar with the build your own concept from a similar themed place in Rowland heights. Let me say this place is clean, immaculate even. The décor would make the modern minimalist blush. Loved that a lot. I’m fairly boring with ice cream. I typically go for espresso /coffee flavors and compare different locations. To no surprise I got the espresso + oreos. It was OK but I enjoy the espresso flavor much more from another neighboring ice cream parlour. Kid was much more adventures — she got the crème brûlée wth the sea salt caramel ice cream. Now that was pretty impressive! It was certainly worth the 500 photos we took of it. I think we’ll try their other more adventurous options like the affogato or something topped with cotton candy for the ultimate sugary treat!

Nice novel ice cream shop! We got the Espresso cookies and cream and strawberries and cream. The ice cream starts off with heavy cream, then you select a flavor and it’s mixed together and is frozen using liquid nitrogen. The iced cream is then topped off with your choice of toppings and paired with a cone, cookie, macaron, or a cup. It’s a new location in Chino Hills in the same strip mall as Sprouts and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Get a dollar off for checking in through Unilocal.Score!

They should change their name. .there’s definitely not«scoops and scoops» worth of ice cream in the drinks they make. I had a iced caramel cream. Taste is pretty good, not mind blowing and not bad. The problem is there’s only one size and it’s $ 6.50. It’s the equivalent of a small or regular size anywhere else. Adding insult to injury, my drink had a huge chunk of ice in it taking up half the volume of the cup. It was gone in a matter of sips. At least don’t give those oversized boba straws with such a petite offering! That doesn’t make sense with this drink. The décor inside is very nightclub-esque. White with glow panels and under lighting. Pretty cool but I think the cost is being passed on via product price. The nitrogen process just slows everything down imo. Maybe the ice cream offerings are better options? Most reviews seem to echo my observations though. Bottom line, there’s better quality at less devastating prices elsewhere.

So what is Scoops n Scoops Creamery? Only the freshest made to order ice cream that is Super DOPE !!! There are endless combinations of creations that can be made to suit anybody, plus a few choose from, from their menu. Your ice cream is made, yes made once you place your order. There are no ice cream tubs hanging around chillin in the freezer waiting for their number to be called. I got vanilla with chocolate syrup, nothing grand I know but it was my first time and to be honest I was confused cause I kept looking for those darn tubs. My daughter ordered the affogato, which can not be ffogato about. My simple lil vanilla had more flavor than any ice cream I’ve ever had. It was sweet, creamy and fresh. Topped of with an as equal delicious chocolate syrup and garnished with a billowy puff of fresh spun cotton candy. I felt like a kid it was fun and delicious. The affogato was superbo! Just the right amount of kick from that double shot of espresso. I can’t wait to go back and order the crème high fives to the entire staff. They were helpful and super nice. Go check it out and be amazed.

My friend and I went here last month to check this place out. My first star goes out to the music selection they have. It’s was pretty bad ass. My second star goes out to the different variety of flavors that they had(ie… sesame seed, red bean, coconut on coconut. My third star goes out to how affordable liquid nitrogen ice cream can be compared to cauldron or creamistry. My fourth star goes out to the location of this scoop n scoop. They have their own private lot. It’s never too packed. And my fifth star hoes out to Caeleen the manager who was there at the time that helped us. She pretty boss ass and super friendly. If you do go, say hi to Caeleen.

This place is contemporary and clean. Very nice ladies who know what the best creations are to offer and attentive right when you walk in. The ice cream here truly has its own different taste than other liquid nitrogen churned ice cream places. This is my first visit here so I had to get my all around favorite ice cream when available; Nutella, or as it’s listed on their list, ‘Chocolate Hazelnut’. Had to get it in a waffle bowl as well! The flavor is pretty good, really creamy. The ice cream although not actually gooey, has a sort of gooey texture. I don’t know if that’s just how it’s made, or if my cup was made this way on accident. I compare this to my favorite go to place Creamistry, where it has more of a creamy but firm and rich texture. This place does not have just pure hazelnut which my mom loves as well. I rate this place a 4 star since there’s really nothing bad about this place, just my preference on the texture of ice cream that really wasn’t that appealing to me. When I want ice cream in general, I can see myself coming back. If I’m in the mood and have a real fix, I’ll be making the drive out to my nearest Creamistry.

This is my second time here however this visit deserves a Unilocal review! I ordered a small Chocolate Hazelnut with a waffle bowl. I wasnt too happy with the waffle bowl and Lily did not hesitate to offer me another one or something to replace it. As a local restaurant owner here in Chino Hills, I recognize great customer service when I see it! Great customer service Lily! I definitely will be back!

Expensive beautiful ice cream. Taste is just okay, is mostly the fun of it. A good place to make an impression. 2 stars to the taste.

Classic American sundae was great!!! The music selection not that great. Choosing the ice cream is a little complicated. We noticed others had issues ordering.

I came here with my sister after stumbling upon it while we were walking from the Chino Spectrum to the Shoppes. I’ve heard of nitrogen liquid frozen ice cream, but hadn’t had the chance to try — so I was pretty excited to try once we ordered. We shared the saffron pistachio with rosewater one(it came out to around $ 6.50) and it was pretty good. The ice cream itself was really weirdly creamy — almost a butter consistency, and wasn’t that sweet which I was a fan of. I think it was slightly too buttery textured for my taste, but all in all still really good. My sister thoroughly enjoyed it as well, even though she’s usually not a fan of unconventional flavors. The girl who helped us out was super friendly & helpful with her recommendations. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re in the area and haven’t tried nitrogen ice cream. It is a bit pricey at $ 6.50, but well worth the experience.

Oh Dear, they have done it. They placed a nitrogen ice cream spot in my hood. This is just like Creamistry that I previously wrote about so the ordering process is very similar. Pick your base, flavor, toppings, etc… There are a lot of different ways to have your ice cream. I really want to try their cotton candy affagato! I tried the salted caramel brulee, it taste so good once it hits your lips(Will Ferrell anyone?) and the texture was a bit different, creamy but thicker than the other Nitrogen places. The place is the same as others, $ 5 for a small but they give you a decent amount. If you want to impress your date with expensive ice cream I would come here. There isn’t a line like the ice cream spot across the street at the mall. It’s an experience and your fine date will take joy in observing their ice cream being made. 5 stars for being the yummy-ness and the closeness. Just take my money.

First time out to Scoop n Scoop! They make your dessert to order! Everything is clean and the staff is awesome and friendly! Ask for Adam! I had the Almond Date over fresh baked Waffle and my friend had the Salted Carmel Pretzel on a bed of chocolate chip cookie! You’ll find it behind Sprouts market! You gotta try it! Btw: they have espressos and coffees as well!

Had some of the best freshly made in awhile here! Highly recommended this place to everyone! The ice cream maker or icecreamologist caeleen was the best! She recommended the best and craziest ice cream I ever had! Thanks caeleen!

First time here. Took the kids for dessert. It was a cold evening so the place wasn’t busy. We came more for the experience of having the kids watch the staff pur liquid nitrogen to make the ice cream. My daughter and I shared the Smores creation. Graham cracker topped with a two scoops of Marshmallow ice cream drizzled with chocolate. The ice cream was light and not too sweet. We both enjoyed every bite. There are different creations to try. There are healthier alternatives to the basic ice cream that I will probably try in the future. I took a star away as they ran out of customer loyal cards. Service was great. The team welcomed customers in and explained how to order from the menu. We will be back!

Drove all the way here to make it before 10pm when they said they closed and they were closed at 9:30pm — the girls told us they were slow so the manager said to close down– not good business! This may sound menial but when you’re a father of kids and your wife and sister-in-law are all craving ice cream and you expect a place to be open, naturally it would be very disappointing to get here and they are closed a half hour early because they were slow–

I’ve already been to Scoops n Scoops in Irvine & I’m so glad this one opened up near my house. Only couple of customers on a grand opening Friday night. That was great considering I thought it was gonna be a line out the door! Lol. This location is kinda hidden. Plenty of parking, even in the back. I walked in and the workers weren’t as friendly as the ones in Irvine. Everyone greeted me over there. I was kinda skeptic about my ice cream not being made right but they did a great job with my Snow Affogato!!! Small shot glass size espresso with vanilla ice cream and cotton candy on top. Yummers!!! I can’t be going there very often as my dessert was $ 6.50!!! It’s the same nitrogen making ice cream concept. Definitely a place to hit up if you like good quality ice cream. Spread the word and support this business. Life is Sweet…
