I am somewhat glad to hear this place has closed. A couple friends and I had gone shooting at nearby Prado Olympic Park and had a grumbling in our stomachs. Being no stranger to Mexican food, this place was honestly just«convenient». I have to say this was probably one of the worst tacos I have ever had in my life. The carne asada seemed like it was boiled, the pork was bland, and I am not even sure if it was pork. The meats were terrible and the tortillas didn’t do anything to help. The worst were the nachos that honestly looked like microwaved kirkland cheese on top of kirkland chips on a kirkland Styrofoam plate. Needless to say, this was one of the worst dining experiences that I had to pay money for. I still have yet to forget how terrible the food was, although the people were nice.

The TACOFACTORY is closed. It is now called La Olla Mexican Grill. No bueno on the new place either.

Absolutely disgusting. I miss the old Taco Factory. We ordered our food to go and when we got home, our order was wrong and the food was so dry and tasted terrible. I’m worried we might get sick. The meat was super dry, the beans were crusty, the enchilada sauce looked like tomato paste. Avoid this place at all costs!

They think by changing the name it’s going to help the food quality. This place is bad I had the menudo it tasted old my wife had the Chorizo breakfast somehow the cook found a way to over cook the eggs and chorizo and came out dry and bland. But that’s what I get for not going to Los Portales I was too lazy to drive down ther. You can get away selling this to the gringos in Chino Hills and tell them it’s authentic Mexican food. But I’m Mexican and I know what Mexican food should taste like don’t waste your time or money. The only reason I gave it one star is because I had to get something from Albertson’s next door and they were both in the same parking lot.

Avoid this place. I just moved to the area, so we have been trying out new places. I should have listened to the Unilocal reviews. Taquitos were okay, the guacamole was flavorless and runny. It was supposed to come with sour cream, but my plate did not. The beans were okay, but the rice was bland and dry. Overpriced. We paid $ 24 for two meals and drinks. That’s ridiculous. My stepfather wasn’t too fond of his meal either, he agreed that we won’t be back. The interior is small and basic. Not really any decorations. It’s just a quick place to grab a bite to eat. I definitely won’t be back.

So happy to have my Cinco De Mayo lunch here. It was delicious and the salsa was hot. Loved it.

Horrible! Taquitos were cold, bland, and the guacamole was a strange green color and taste really old. I got one taquitos combo plate with all rice and no beans and one side order of taquitos. The rice was old and hard. Disgusting and totally not worth $ 14.

Decent food … Very Poor service! Don’t expect a «Hello» or «Thank you» expect to be treated like you are lucky to be here. Instead of we’re glad you’re here. The crew and cooks have very bad attitudes. This location was once twice as big but had to give up most of their dining room in order to lower its rent to make up for dipping sales. At this point there’s no more square footage to give up … Up next … Closure!

It’s ok for fast food mexican. The salsa was a bit off. Maybe I’ll try it a third time just for the taquitos.

Wow this place went from bad to worse. I was never a fan of this place but my wife would drag me here every 6 months or so because she«liked» their vegetarian tacos. Even she is now calling«no bueno». So what’s changed? First the food was all over cooked. No exaggeration, the beef in my taco had the texture of jerky, my chicken taquitos, I’m still not convinced weren’t beef and rice was crunchy and dry, who knows how long the food was sitting under a heat lamp. So you’re wondering well how was the service. The people working there were nice enough but made a couple mistakes with our order. Nothing unforgivable(my taquitos plate came out al a carte, no sides and my wife’s request for no lettuce on the taco she ordered came out with lettuce) but enough to make you wonder, is anyone in charge? Does anyone care? So what’s the bottom line? Everything we ordered was subpar and most of it was border line nasty. We will not return unless their a huge sign saying under new management.

If you want Mexican food you’ll do better going to Albertos. Just ate here for dinner worse $ 24 I’ve ever spent. Rice was hard, beans had no flavor, fish tacos were dry, kid’s chicken tacos were cold and taco shells were soggy. This place was nasty to say the least. I will NEVER go back!

amazing authentic mexican the carnitas is amazing! quesadilla is usually my go-to but their burritos are also solid. carne asada is also fantastic. the salsa bar definitely takes it over the edge — i could drink their salsa verde straight and be perfectly content
