I’ve been getting lessons from ABC for my kids since it opened. Coach Kathy has great patience with her students and doesn’t hesitate to stop and correct a child’s behavior for learning improvement and saftey reasons. Parents are afraid of disciplining a child but we’re totally ok with it. It’s part of a child’s proper upbringing. She’s reasonable, flexible and a great motivator and gives the kids the words of praise when earned. I will continue to take my kids and encourge all to try out her great lesson program in the San Dimas or Chino, Ca areas!

I attend Parent and Me classes weekly at ABC Aquatics with my 10 month old son. Miss Madi is an amazing instructor who is both knowledgeable and patient with the kids (and parents!) Beautiful and clean facilities, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Love love love ABC Aquatics! My two daughters have attended for years and have become awesome swimmers. We tried several in the area before finding ABC and this is by far the best value and most enjoyable venue. Would give them 100 stars if possible!

By far the best swim school in so cal! Unlike other schools in the area, ABC Aquatics really cares about your child learning the skills to being water safe. It is about helping to save lives and not just about making money off of you. After researching other schools in the area, ABC is the best deal around. The instructors are all certified and experienced. The property is very beautiful and always clean. I HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone looking for year round lessons for you (the parent) or your child.

I’m sorry although the instructors are nice, scheduling is just too difficult. Everything is pretty much done by email and although you include the thread they fail to read it and don’t answer all of your questions. Not very professional in my eyes and it’s too disorganized. These lessons are held in someone’s backyard btw, which is fine but I think they should invest in a phone system or use a cell phone to better communicate with clients. I’m done with this place.

Inefficient, inefficient, inefficient. They don’t know how to improve the kids’s skills efficiently. Most instructors are high-school or college students. They come and go and spend a lot of time playing with the kids in every minute you’re paying. My both boys went there 8 months and could hardly learn how to swim one stroke efficiently although they’re taught four strokes. They always suggest to communicate through e-mail, which you need 2 to 4 days to get a reply if they’re not forgetting. And the manner was awful.
It doesn’t make sense spending so much time and money on it and can not find a way to improve the skills. My kids were trying so hard and not afraid of water. I’ve been struggling on giving them more time but communicating with them was really killing me. This reflects how professional they are. Need to find a better place for the kids.

My two boys both attend ABC aquatics. They are the best swimming school you can find around the area, not to mention the natural salt water they got. We love miss Kathy and all the other instructors. Look forward to get back again when there is an opening for us. We took a break during dec and this month, and they are so popular that our spot was filled right away. My boys can’t wait to return and my older one was one of those who did not even dare to go into the pool!!! They have done an amazing job

We spent almost a year taking swimming lessons through ABC Aquatics. We started out in the mommy and me class and then moved up to the semi-private lessons when my daughter was almost 2. The mommy and me class was great! Kathy and the teachers were very patient with my daughter and understood how to work with toddlers. They also were very attentive even though there were other mommy/me combos in the same class. They did a great job of spending equal amounts of time with each set throughout the lesson. Once my daughter moved up to the semi-private class she was placed with another girl that was slightly more advanced because my daughter needed a little challenge. By the time she was 2, she could float on her back, turn from her back to her stomach, and from her stomach to her back. She also learned a lot about pool safety. Overall, Ms. Kathy and her teachers are great with children and are great teachers!

I have 2 girls 4 & 6 who started swimming with Miss Kathy this summer. She is great! She has my daughter who was terrified of getting in, now asking to swim across the pool! She has taught them to be confident and strong swimmers, while giving them great skills! We recommend her highly! Would never go anywhere else!!!

Our two 5-yr old daughters had swimming lessons with Kathy this summer and they are now swimming across the pool with great ease and confidence. Kathy was so patient with them, especially with one who was extremely afraid of the deep end. She taught them at their own comfort level and was so wonderful with them. We are so thankful to have had Kathy as their swim instructor. Hope to see you again next summer, Kathy!
