Came in hostess looked like she was not happy to be at work. However, waitresses were very friendly and helpful food was good. Building inside is very beautiful but had a bad smell to it. Just needs a little love.

I went by this afternoon to see this location had closed permanently. We have been coming here for at least 12 years along with my Wife &3 Kids. The service was always great when dining in as well as just stopping by for pies to go. Never a bad experience, not once. As to the people who complain, most likely are people who can never be pleased regardless of the great service. Anyway, it’s very sad to see another local business shutting down and thinking of all the employees who lost their jobs, hopefully they find something else very soon.

So sad to hear this location is closing. Been coming here for years. Service and food are great!

This place is s total disappointment. Used to come here for Sunday brunch. Is not like it used to be. The food is dry and they don’t have many options. My glass had lipstick smudges all around.

Nice and warm place, the food tasted good, only you have to wait for being served. Rest room both men and women not too clean or I have to said very dirty.

Came in to this restaurant to pick up some cornbread. And the manager was very nice and polite. I recommend you to come to this place.

This place gets worse and worse every time we come here to eat. Service is super slow and it seems there’s always some party going on that they cater to instead of the rest of the customers in the restaurant. We decided to give them another shot, but this time ordered the pot pie combo to go with house salads. After placing and paying for our order, we realized 45 mins had passed. We got up to ask about our order and there was no hostess, no one in the dirty bar, no one anywhere except for customers waiting for their to go food or waiting to be seated. A guy finally went in the back to see if there was anyone there and they told him someone should be right out. A worker finally comes out with our order and hands it to us in crumbled up bags. We get in the car and check our order… they put our pot pies in soup cups!!! A pot pie in a soup cup all mixed up!!! Unacceptable! Went to get our money back and the manager offered to fix the order telling us those were the small pot pies(didn’t know there was a small and large) and that’s the way they serve them, and he’d give us the large ones in a tin plus a $ 30 gift card. My husband was hungry so he agreed. We get home and all they did was slop a pot pie into a tin dish instead of the plastic bowl and Cesar salads instead of the house salad we ordered. The $ 30 gift card was a signed note from the manager, «dinner for two up to $ 30». Never never never again will we eat here!

I ordered Thanksgiving dinner for my office. I went there today to pick it up and they told me they never got the order. I placed it over the phone and even had an amount($ 73.42) quoted to me. This is absolutely unacceptable and I wasn’t even offered anything as compensation, not even so much as a sorry. I will never eat there again, and I would definitely not use there catering service again.

Went Sunday evening for dinner. Due to the time change there were no lights on in the parking lot or on the building. Very spooky and very dark. This resturant is large but extremely run down and just plain dirty. Server was nice but our food took a long time to come out and wasn’t warm or appetizing. Just a disappointing experience.

Service was really good, Jessica was a good waitress but the food was not great. Two meals came out lukewarm. My fried fish was mostly batter, very thick batter. Fish inside was tiny. Coleslaw had been sitting in the fridge too long, it was almost dehydrated. Pot pie was OK. Had very little chicken. We will not be back.

I used to come here a lot with my daughter while my wife was at work. the other day we decided to stop in for dinner and had the worst experience ever. our waitress never came by the table to fill up drinks, we seen her at the front twice on her phone texting and flirting with other employees. so my wife went to the front to ask for a box and pay the check since I had to get to school and she never came by the table. the other employee at the front told my wife«oh its probably because she/s about to be off». are you kidding me?! long story short I will not be going here any more business or pleasure. there is an olive garden right across the street I will be replacing this place with

Came here Sunday night for some birthday pie. Service was okay. Nothing spectacular. The young lady serving us was nice enough, but didn’t have much of a personality. Just indifferent I guess. From our party of 9, we sampled the following pies: pecan, apple, coconut cream, banana cream and some kind of lemon tart cheesecake. As usual, the pies were a hit with both the kids and the grown ups. Both the pecan and apple were missing ice cream though. There were only two things I could complain about on this evening. The first, was that our server took a little while with bringing out our coffee, and I was almost done with my pie by the time she finally brought it out. The pecan was warm, the way I like it, and the coffee would have been perfect with it. She did tell us that there was a problem with their coffee pot, but that would have been nice to know when it happened, because we thought she had just forgotten about us. The second thing to complain about was the mac n cheese served to my nephew. Now, to be perfectly honest, I don’t have a problem eating boxed mac n cheese every once in a while, but I’d expect a restaurant to scratch make their mac n cheese, especially an establishment such as Marie Callender’s, simply because they make homey comfort foods. Not sure if I’d come back for the restaurant, but for the pies I would.

I come here for the pies! I used to come here to dine, mainly pot pies and other comfort food. I will admit, however, i haven’t dined here in years. I do stop in often to pick up pies for family gatherings, work parties or one for myself if I feel like being a fatty. They never disappoint and the recipe appears to have remained the same over time. There are lots of sales and coupons so be sure to take full advantage.

The five of us went there when the place opens for breakfast at 7:00 and was nicely greeted by the appeared to be manager and sat us with drink orders. I had coffee and orange juice. We had complimentary blueberry bread which was very good. Then ordered the combo with eggs over medium, bacon, pancakes and crispy hash browns. All came out in a timely matter(we had a time limit due to work), and was hot and decent tasting. He and the other server who arrived later for work were attentive with refills and was nice to change the type of bread for toast my nephew ordered. We’ll be back and hope to try their brunch and pies soon.

Decided to go here out of the blue. My last time st a Marie Callender’s was 25 years ago. Saturday night 6 pm, this place was empty. Walked in and waited to be seated for 5 minutes. Eventually we were seated. We waited for 5 more minutes to get our drink order. Our waitress brought some corn bread. Opened our silverware and all three sets had dried caked on food. Yuck! I Love Marie Callender’s corn bread, as I buy the mix all the time! It tasted absolutely NOT fresh! It tasted old and was definately microwaved. We ordered the chicken and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo. The picture looked delicious on the menu. When it arrived, it was like«What happened!!!». Nothing like the picture, but then again what ever does. To be honest, it didn’t taste all that great for $ 16.49 a plate. I love the Marie Calendar’s frozen meals at the grocery store. And my honest truth the ones at the grocery store are way better, and cheaper! Disappointed in our meals, we went ahead and ordered a pie to go. They are known for their pies, right!?! Opened my pie when We got home, and surely wasn’t worth $ 12.99.

So I been here many a time and will continue to frequent this fine 5star establishment. So it was a busy Easter Sunday brunch and they successfully served our very large party down to toast and all the extras we asked for.(if you want tortillas or toast they will bring it to you but you have to ask.) It was my daughters boyfriends birthday and they gave him a slice of chocolate pie and sang Happy Birthday to him(I’m told they normally don’t do that). Thanks to Bernice and Stephanie the wonderful service. BTW the food was all fresh and in one location making it very convenient. On a final note all the associate’s were very friendly the manager of the location even came over to thank us. So go eat here you won’t be disappointed

I need to give this place a 5 star review, as I was with a party of 30+ people and the service was excellent. It was Easter Sunday brunch and we had such a great time. The food was delicious and I am guilty of being a glutton when it comes to buffets. The service from Bernice & Stephanie was superb. The refills came in a timely fashion and they were very attentive to our table whether we needed another drink, napkins, or extra silverware. The food was well organized and everything was accessible from a room that might be a banquet or party room typically. It was better than other Marie Callender’s that I’ve been to that put the buffet line among the other diners’ tables. The omelet bar had so much of a selection. I ended up putting jalapeños, bacon, ham, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and tomato in it. They had belgian waffles that were made fresh. I topped those with whipped cream, butter, syrup, and strawberries. The deserts were plentiful with pies and cookies. I had a Banana Foster with ice cream and a belgian waffle cone(also made fresh there). It was a very enjoyable time and I look forward to going back again next year for Easter with the family. Would highly recommend.

The overall quality of food is decent. The restaurant does not have its own distinction in service and food selections compare with many of its counterparts. The list of foods on the menu are very similar to those you find at the Cheesecake Factory and Mimi’s Café, though, in a slightly larger quantities. I would recommend people with a big appetite and craving for some higher quality American food to go and check it out. The place wouldn’t last you a distinctive memory, but enough to make you want to come back sometime in the future.

Ayee. This place is depressing. I remember going to Marie Callendar’s as a kid and it was THE place to go for really decent food.(Not great food, come on now, even as a kid I knew this wasn’t great food). It used to have pies that were mouth-watering though, with 20 types or more in the case on the way out. It was kind of what Cheesecake Factory is today. I went here a month ago, however, after maybe 20 years, and holy cow. Right when I walked in, I felt this like eery(this place should be out of business) vibe. Still had the 80’s type of décor going on, with one of the lights out. It’s sad. The service was terrible too. I called in for a pick-up order of dinner to-go, and when I got there, they were like, «oh yea, what did you order again?» haha. Granted the guy answering the phone was brand new, but shit. Just tell me that on the phone so I’m not wasting my breath telling you my order. The food I got was Apple-Bees quality.(tasted like it was thrown in an oven from a big freezer). And of course I had to get a slice of pie while I was there. Guess how that tasted? Poor Marie Callender’s. One of the long lasting businesses I remember as a kid that hasn’t been swelled up(yet) by the big corporations. I hope you can last, but its going to first take some renovations, and much better quality food. Then maybe a re-grand opening.
