Might be the worst phở restaurant in the chino hills area. Not recommended. Not very clean and not very friendly. It is also very small and uncomfortable when busy. The only thing they have going for them is $ 5 meals. Take it to go I suggest.

First time here, yum! I will definitely come back. I had the shrimp and crab meat(fake crab) rice noodle soup, whatever the spice in the broth is absolutely heavenly. My only minor complaint would be, the soup was really hot and I had to patiently wait for it to cool down. My lunch co-worker had the typical phở soup and loved it too. Small restaurant, clean

This place is located right next to the 99 ranch market so whenever my parents go shop for groceries I always come by here to get a coffee. This place is a true mom and pop shop. They just recently remodeled the place and the workers there are really really nice. I like supporting the mom and pop shops so don’t knock on them! Anyways, we always come here to get a sandwich or phở. It’s your typical viet place with standard stuff. The food is good and cheap if you’re feeling like viet food. I’ve only tried the phở and the ice coffee. They make their ice coffe pretty strong and straight to the point.

Worst phở I’ve ever been to. The meat from spring rolls were chewy, the sauce was nasty, phở was okay but not enough broth taste, ice water was nasty you can def taste the tap. Lastly, service sucks! No eye contact, have to walk to the front to pay unless you want to stay there for hours.

I usually get my meals to go because I know the service is very bad! I have been here several times to know. I keep coming back because the food is good and the price is decent. I usually get the Phở and/or pork chops with rice. Just ignore the horrible service and enjoy the food. :)

I go there because it is near where I work. Because it is the nearest Phở restaurant. Because I want a quick lunch. Because I don’t want to kill my brain deciding where to eat. If you have other choice, don’t go there.

My 3-star rating is more for the food, rather than the service. The place is a hole in the wall, in the 99 Ranch Market plaza. The BF and I eat here as a result of convenience of being in the area. We’ve eaten here close to a dozen times, and service has always been consistent with the«less than enthusiastic» man taking our order. Our usual order is the seafood phở, house special soup with egg noodle, or the beef phở. Food arrives promptly and hits the spot. The portion size is pretty decent; however, I usually give 1⁄3 of my noodles for my BF to finish, but that’s a personal choice. If you’re in an anti-social mood and looking for a quick phở fix, this would be an OK place.

LOL, the reviews that people have on this place is pretty right on. The servers/owner/waiter(s) provide some pretty poor customer service. He asked if we were ready to order, my wife & I looked at each other to ask each other if we were ready and when we looked back, the guy was gone. Seriously though, when I go to a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant, I don’t expect good customer service. Although this is not ok in my book, it doesn’t really offend me. The food itself was just ok. I’ve had better Phở(go to #1 Phở or Saigon(restaurant) in Rancho Cucamonga). My phở ga had very little chicken pieces. My wife’s vermicelli dish was slightly flavorful. The fried rice was somewhat enjoyable, but there really isn’t enough to enjoy. The portions were really tiny and sure fits the $ 4.99 tag. If I wanted to have some cheap eats, I suppose this isn’t the worst place to go.

WORST. PHO. RESTAURANT. EVER. First I’ll say that the food is mediocre at best. Definitely not worth 6 – 5 or $ 4.99. In regards to everything else, this is by far the worst phở place you could ever go to. Food is not speedy, service is insulting(literally) and you leave wishing you never went in in the first place. –While we sat and waited we asked if we could get drinks and were purposely ignored after being looked in the eyes multiple times. –Our drinks didn’t come until we got the food. –The old lady waiter/owner was literally rushing us to order when it wasn’t even busy and we already knew what we wanted. –When we paid she literally threw the change at me. I could go into a lot more detail, but honestly this place is not worth the words I’m typing. It’s really rare that I actually hate a restaurant, but this place is just not deserving of the ground it’s built on. After coming and trying to like it multiple times, there’s just no way around it. This is the worst Phở restaurant(and probably worst place to eat) in Southern California.

The restaurant is a corner venue with surprisingly small seating. It felt cramped and very claustrophobic. The layout of restaurant meant that you can hear everyone and everyone can hear you. Service is horrendous. From randomly leaving in the middle of your order to delivering your food to another table. My visit was riddled with errors and ridiculous situations. The food is mediocre. It’s food and it’ll pass but compared to the other Phở places around, the broth was bland and lifeless. The regular broth was thin and the stew broth was not edifying; I saw the bullion remnants float about in my bowl. The meat servings in the food was sparse, like winning the lottery sparse, but your winnings are not a million dollars, it’s disappointment. Dear Phở 2007, you’re doing it wrong.

Meh, I experienced much better. I was lured in with the«Everything $ 4.99» sign, they had for a while. I had the Phở Bo Vien and asked for water. The guy comes back with the phở and no water. I remind him that I wanted water, so he nods and he goes on his way. They serve tap-water, which was hot and steaming for some weird reason. So, I ask for cold water, and he nods again but he never came back with water. It’s not worth the $ 4.99. It’s also cash only. I’ll rather drive out to Phở Ha in Pomona. Or get some food inside the Ranch 99 nearby.

The Phở is not that great. If you’re craving some Phở real bad and your life depends on a bowl of it then I guess come here. Otherwise there’s a couple other Vietnamese noodle houses within a 5 – 10 minutes drive. The $ 4.99 sounds enticing, but if you order say a large Phở bowl, it’s still the normal $ 7 ish? I don’t know but the«everything» is pretty misleading. Plus, the large bowl is pretty much just more soup, little bit more noodles and not much else. Sandwiches are not very good. I’d say 75% bread, 10% veggies, and 15% meat. Not too appealing and I don’t taste any pâté. Oh well, I guess I shouldn’t expect it. Service. What’s that? Doesn’t exist. Just hope you get whatever you asked for. If not ask for it again then go up to the counter and get up in their face and ask until their ears bleed and they’ll feel inclined to throw some human waste into your broth.

I’ve driven by this place a bunch of times and was always curious about the«Everything $ 4.99» sign out front. Well, I finally got a chance to check it out. First of all, there are different prices on the menu. I’m not sure if this $ 4.99 thing is a permanent or temporary promotion, but the menu has the original prices. And yes, everything is $ 4.99 except the combo(phở + egg rolls + soda) which is $ 8 something. The phở was pretty good, but there wasn’t as much meat as at other places. I mean if you think about it, I guess $ 4.99 isn’t thaaaat cheap. There are lots of places were you can get phở for $ 5.50 or $ 6. I would call Phở 2007, a «convenience» phở location. I would come back if I was going to 99 Ranch, but if I was going out specifically for phở, I’d go elsewhere. Oh, but if you do come here be sure to order a drink because the water is nasty.

I went to Phở 2007 for the first(and only) time for lunch today. And now, I regret everything about the experience. Let’s say that it’s equivalent to a really awful one-night stand. I was feenin’ for some Asian food and after two failed attempts in the area(L&L Hawaiian BBQ and Rolling Rice were CLOSED), my glucose levels were at an all-time low. I had reached the point of desperation and had to eat something somewhere SOON! With my mind shut down and my body shaking from hunger, I pulled up to Phở 2007. I usually am smart enough to check Unilocal before trying anything new but again, my brain was on auto-pilot. I walked into the empty restaurant only to be grunted at by the hostess/waitress/cashier older Vietnamese woman. I ordered F1– bun with eggrolls, pork, and shrimp, along with a Diet Coke. She already gave me a glass of water and said«You already have water. You still want Diet Coke?!» I never felt so belittled or guilty for ordering soda before. Once the food came out, I was already scared of what to expect. The bun appeared to be okay. But upon further inspection I noticed the following: The pork was questionable– it had a dark orange hue like Peking duck. The eggs rolls were just one skinny one. The two tiny butterfly shrimp were sad looking. After getting enough nerve to actually eat(as I feared the lady would grunt at me again), I found the bun to be the worst I ever had ever in my life. I say this statement for the following reasons:(1) The pork tasted like Peking pork jerky– totally tough and had this odd«old» taste to it;(2) The egg roll was skinny and a few hours old,(3) The obvious lack of peanuts in the dish,(4) the butterflied shrimp still had it’s intestinal vein in tact(gag!), and(4) I had to douse the dish with hot chili sauce in order to eat it without gagging. Top it all off, I think my Diet Coke came from a 2-liter bottle opened last month— totally flat and stale. I quickly ate and paid for my food. I just had to eat for the sake of eating and put my taste buds on auto pilot. Again, it felt like a really bad one-night stand where everything went wrong and I wish that I never had gone through it. I’m still recovering from it and wish I could just purge it out of my memory(and my stomach).

What the phở?! Phoget this place! Have you ever met someone, and immediately felt a vibe of pure, utterly extreme malevolence? I have. I can chalk this experience up to Phở 2007. I can honestly say the dude hated me. I don’t know why. Came with the family, but something about him made me feel like he wanted to do some serious bodily harm to me. I was afraid for my life. Food was okay. I had once thought that it was impossible to screw up Phở. I was wrong. The noodles were completely mushy, and there were not many fixins’ in the phở. You get what you pay for sometimes. I don’t plan on returning, but I’ll go ahead and give them 2 stars for the attempt.

i will NEVER come here again. I was lured in by the 4.99 deal but i’m sad I wasted even that. First off, when you walk on, no one helps you. The employees make you feel like you are annoying them but coming in there and giving them some business. Well, whatever, we were hungry and craving phở so we grabbed some menus and seat ourselves. After I hear some yelling, this guy comes out to take our order. He asks us what we want to drink — my bf wants a coke and I want some water. He comes back with the coke and no water. I kindly remind him, I wanted water, so he takes our order and then disappears until our food is ready. Still no water. I remind him again, i would like some water, especially because I love to have a hefty amount of Sriracha sauce with my phở… he apologizes and says he’ll get it. Ok, now i feel like we’re making some progress… NOPE. He gets distracted by the only other couple that was eating there and starts talking to them for about 15 minutes… UHH I“M STILLWAITINGFORTHEWATER! The couple leave, I remind him again of the water, after drinking all of my bf’s coke and ice, he brings me the water with our check. WTF?! I don’t care if this place had $ 1 specials… I wouldn’t come back. By the way, whoever said this place takes credit cards on the info part made a mistake. it’s Cash Only. Oh, and does really suck. I think I ate about ¼ of my meal. yuck.

Grouchy, dirty, and so-so food. This place is below average(3 stars). I give it one star since there isn’t many Viet places in Chino area. In short, the workers are slow, lazy, and have a pissed off attitude. I wish I was able to photograph one of the workers. He is a young asian guy with the attitiude he didn’t want to be working. Perhaps it was the holiday season and having to work Saturday. The lady behind me asked for a fork several times and finally got one after 10 minutes. I caught the worker roll his eye and go to the back to get a fork. I don’t want to imagine what is going on with that fork. He was also very unfriendly to people walking into this restaurant. I suppose this might be the norm. As for the food, it wasn’t good. My wife thought the meat dish(see my photo) was good and tasty. My large phở was really skimpy on the meats and noodles. Nothing special with this phở. The place is also on the dirty side. They don’t clean up the tables promptly. It seems they will eventually clean up the tables when a customer can’t find a place to sit. Don’t get me wrong. I like hole in the wall places that serve good food so I can handle dirty if the food is good. I’ve also been to hard core asian places where service is borderline rude, but one can forgive these places since the food is usually excellent value and service is about efficiency and not friendly chatter.

This happens to be the 2nd nearest Vietnamese restaurant next to my friend’s house in Corona and trust, that doesn’t say much in boonville. Anyway, we were greeted by a haggard, crotchety Asian lady that played cashier and waitress. Taking one good look at her, I expected bad service and she didn’t let me down. So, we ordered egg rolls(tasty), vegetable phở(good helping of veggies and tofu), and Com Bo Luc Lac(I’ve had better, but it was still good). I’ll admit, the food is pretty decent. Just don’t expect great service. Especially from the older Asian lady; she’ll give you the death eye if you ask for anything. I actually felt compelled to apologize to her when I had to remind her for my soup. I did like the fact that they have a customer appreciation card, where if you purchase a # number of meals, you get a free one. Everyone should do this! It’s a great idea and will encourage people to dine here more often to get that free meal. On a side note, they had the funkiest ice I’ve ever seen! They were literally mushroomed shaped. Kinda put a fun factor into the entire meal. Decent Vietnamese food in this hood is scarce so yeah, it’s not the best, but it does the job. I’d visit this place again.

A small corner restaurant located in the Asian strip mall(Peyton and Chino), Phở 2007 is decent enough to dine in(or dine out-togo) when you’re in Chino Hills. There is a current special, «4.99 all dishes!» sign posted in front.(If you want a large– add 49 cents) My friends were heading out to Phở 2007 for some dinner, as I chose to stay behind to continue studying. But I was getting super hungry so I asked them to bring me back some Com Bo Luc Lac(Shaken beef with rice)($ 5). BOY was it delicious! The portions are adequate – but may be disappointing to anyone else with a healthier appetite. It came with a large helping of steamed white rice, a bit of salad and raw onions, and a large portion of beef cubes and grilled onions. The onions were sooooo good, but a little oilier than usual. The whole thing was very flavorful and had enough sauce to mix with the plain white rice. MANN – I’m craving it right now… I miss eating cooked hot meals. :[ Okay, so today I joined a couple friends for more Phở 2007. This time I got to try the phở broth. It was bland. That’s all I got to say about that. I tried their Café Sua Da($ 2), too. It was strong… but had weird brown chunks of something floating on top. It might be old coffee or ??? I’m giving them 4 stars because: +speediness in food making and bussing +deliciousness of bo luc lac! +cheapness(5 dollar deal! can’t beat that!)[their banh mi is 3 something] +mushroom looking icecubes! +menu variety –MINUS a big fat star for CASHONLY!!! –weird floaters in my iced coffee drink

Time to retract my previous review. I had the most horrible experience on my last visit. We were immediately seated and we purposely spoke louder so that they would hear that we were waiting for another friend. He gave us the menu and literally gave us a minute to look it over before he started hovering over us. After 30 seconds of complete awkwardness, I finally told him we weren’t ready yet. After we decided it was time to just order and not wait for our friend, he came back and took our order. Just give them the number you want, as telling them the name is meaningless. My friend ordered a charbroiled beef vermicelli(no beansprouts) and I ordered a phở(no onions and cilantro). He comes back a few minutes later with a menu and asks us what we ordered. Are you forreals? Were you not here a minute ago writing down our order?! After I told him which phở I ordered, I repeated AGAIN that I did not want onions and cilantro. Minutes later, he comes out with my bowl of phở. And guess what was in it? ONIONSANDCILANTRO. I told him to take it back because I asked TWICE for no onions and cilantro. How can you mess up something so simple?! He comes back, and of course, it’s the same bowl. He just got rid of as much as he could. I could tell the noodles were old, as they were breaking apart as I was trying to loosen them up. Not only that, but there were bits of cilantro EVERYWHERE. I was annoyed at this point. My friend’s vermicelli finally came out after. And you’ll never guess! Beansprouts! We started a nice pile of everything we asked NOT to be in our food on the table. I asked him for a bowl so we could put the stuff in there but he NEVER came back with one. There was so much cilantro in my phở that I couldn’t even force myself to eat half of it. I ended up ordering a super simple rice dish that even he couldn’t mess up. I ordered it to-go because looking at this guy for another second would make me go bat sh! t crazy. I ordered a shredded pork, egg quiche, and charbroiled beef rice dish. It was good! We noticed all their meat was pink even though it was fully cooked. Is that normal? Portions are generous but it’s not worth it. They’ve finally taken down their free drink special. Cash only!
