All three of my kids are taking piano lessons from Don. He gives the kids positive feedback and never showed signs of negativity. He encourages his students to enjoy and love playing music. He is flexible with changing or rescheduling our missed lessons. My kids continue to show progress and are playing beautiful music. His teaching styles are effective and I highly recommend him.

Don is the most patient piano teacher with a high age range of students. The lessons are private lessons that are focused on each individual student. His rates are very competitive well worth the price. My daughter has been coming here for a few months and each week still very excited to attend practices. He gives honest criticism and genuinely wants to see his students grow. He teaches music in a very step by step manner. If anyone is looking for piano lessons this is the place!

My daughter has been taking lessons from Don for a few years, and I like that he is versatile in his piano style knowledge. Now that she is through the piano learning books, Don has been helping her expand on her style preference of jazz and some pop. He is also teaching her how to improvise — just play what comes to mind. This is helping to keep her interested in playing since she has now taken up the guitar too. Another thing that I like about Don is the fact that he has a degree in pedagogy… he is truly dedicated to teaching piano; not just someone that can play and happens to teach on the side. I recommend Don to anyone that wants to seriously learn to play piano.
